Al Nada Sweets — Restaurant in Melbourne

I had a very frustrating experience the first time I tried to visit. Nobody answered the phone or doorbell despite me being there during opening hours.

Today, I finally had success!! I had to ring the doorbell, but somebody came very quickly to let us in. I bought a couple of the gift/sample packs and a container of Turkish delight. The woman serving threw in a couple of freebies, which we ate as soon as we got back to the car.

The sweets are authentic and delicious - I am so glad I made another attempt...

This place is amazing! For years I thought they were permanently closed because I couldn’t work out the trading hours. But if you just ring the doorbell at the front of the shop, someone will come down to answer. The woman behind the counter was so lovely and told us that there is always someone there during the day, just ring the doorbell for someone to let you in :) all vegan! All delicious! It's with some regret, that I write this review, because the lady who owns the business is so lovely, but to be honest, the baklava was stale to the point where I couldn't eat it, and the whole lot went in the bin. Maybe I bought it on the wrong day, because other people from up to 8 years ago are saying it's nice and fresh, but after buying 10 mixed for $20 dollars, It's not my intention...
