We bought 1 Groupon voucher to have breakfast at Armanii's Caffe Cucina â Bundoora for 2 people. As indicated on the voucher that âAdvance booking for Sat & Sun recommendedâ, we tried to book on the website as well as made several calls to the restaurant to book for either Sun 26.11.2017 or 03.12.2017. However, we failed to do so both ways as we were always advised that the weekend was fully booked. Ridiculously, when we arrived on Sun 03.12.2017 morning, the first thing the waiter did when he saw us was offering us a table for 2 people of our choice. After being told that we were going to use the voucher bought from Groupon, he changed his attitude straight away and told us that as we did not book in advance, we needed to go home and book so that we can come in next time. He kept giving us the reason that the restaurant will not serve to open people on weekend, so we wonder why he offered us a table when we just arrived??? That was clearly a DISCRIMINATION between people using Groupon vouchers and other non-Groupon users. In addition, if they donât want customers using Groupon to come at the weekend, why didnât they put on the ads that COMPULSORY BOOKING FOR SAT & SUN or NOT VALID ON SAT & SUN instead of RECOMMENDED. If we knew that they were unwilling to serve us at weekend, we would not have bought the voucher because we are not free on weekdays. On the other hands, we noticed that there were only 4-5 out of 20 tables occupied by customers that time, the other emptied tables had no signs of reservation or such, but he was unwilling to offer us just 1 table. That was really pissing us off. Such terrible customer service, disrespectful attitude and horrible customer retention will definitely ruin your business one day, believe me, dear the waiter who CLAIMED TO BE THE OWNER of the restaurant we talked to. We will definitely NOT come back to this disgusting restaurant anymore!!!
*Update 04.12.2017: After posted this feedback yesterday, today the above-mentioned waiter sent me a private message on facebook, stated that "Hey, before groupon return your money you have to delete your review.    Read moreBeen here twice now, the first time ordered an open kebab, literally 1 piece of tomato no seasoning, and undercooked lamb.. I showed the staff who said they would cook another. I explained i wasn't happy with that and just wanted a refund to eat somewhere else.
They made a big fuss about it and tried bad attempt of intimidation.
I for what ever reason went back today after 4 months I thought I would try a wrap.
It cost $16 and took 15minutes to cook when there were only 5 ppl in the establishment that had all been served there food already.
What I got was pathetic, the bread seemed old and the amount was pitaful... it looked horrible an lumpy in the spots where they didnt bother to add anything.
Not sure if the chef was blind but I present my dog a better meal..
