My review today is not regarding a specific dining experience, but feedback from a concerned hygiene auditor regarding the ice cream cases. I went into the store today to purchase a gift card, the staff member was so kind to allow me to purchase one even though the store wasnāt officially open yet, but I had my baby with me and she obviously didnāt want to keep me waiting which was a truly lovely act of kindness. However whilst in store, I noticed a severe amount of mould buildup inside the case and air vents at the back of the case. Ice cream and gelato are already a high risk food for listeria and other bacteria, so ensuring your freezers and prep areas are clean is paramount to avoiding outbreaks and other food safety hazards. I would strongly encourage the store manager to arrange deep cleaning for the display case as the amount of buildup is likely months worth which makes me question the hygiene of the rest of the store. It is clearly visible to your customers, though I have an eye for these kinds of things as an auditor, you would definitely notice it as an ordinary customer. Thankfully the voucher is redeemable at any franchise, so I will be instructing the recipient to purchase from elsewhere until the cleaning standards of this...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei am so very upset and mad about my experience at this store i have gone in very hungry and upset all i wanted was a nice acai i order they had no large cups to start of with so i got a small costed me 17$ just for a small acai with extra sauce me and my friends waited over 20 minutes just for them to say the machine wasn't working and it was we take the haft filled cup they have made or a refund i was quite upset at what i was told as i waited so long just for them to say that i was at least hoping for the haft made acai and a refund at least i will not be coming back here really upset as i walked a good distance and it was freezing only for this to happen i would of at least thought they would check and make sure everything is working till they servie a customer plus it was runned but unprofessional teenagers that looked like they had no idea what they was doing or how to run the shop good when i was told i only can get a refund i over heard the guy say the the girl he would eat my acai and i walked out and looked in the glass window only to see them both adding toppings and eating it witch really frustrated me where is the manger...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTook my son out for a special treat about 30 min ago. Ordered 2 scoops of vanilla bean and 2 scoops of fairy bread. Was served by a girl with tied up hair but forgot about her long fringe hanging down and yep you guessed it, my ice cream had a long piece of hair in it. It was from the bottoms all the way to the top smothered with my ice cream. 𤢠But it didnāt end there. My sonās ice cream contained a multitude of other flavours people previously had as the scoop was dirty and mine also contained those wonderful new flavours as well. Unfortunately Iām allergic to coffee and I thought I was safe ordering the vanilla but it also came with coffee flavours from the dirty unclean spoon. Now Iām at home with stomach cramps. So much for a treat huh? We ended up throwing them out and I think you totally deserve this review. Disgusting!!!!! I love to support small community businesses but I have limits! $16 for for a treat, Iām pretty sure it wasnāt Halloween caused we got tricked! Disappointed...
