Firstly, they didn’t have change, which was fine as I was eating in. The green curry was pre-made and tasted like garbage. They put it in a take away container. Then, because I wasn’t happy with the green curry, I ordered a massaman curry to take away, which was nice. I paid for both dishes and didn’t complain about the first dish. I asked for bamboo shoots instead of potato and they included bean shoots instead. Waited 20 minutes for the dish. It seems they couldn’t understand English well at the time of ordering, but they seemed to understand pretty well when they came up to me and had the nerve to ask me for an extra $8 because I ate the food at the table!! The take away portion sizes are smaller than the eat in portion sizes, so of course I refused to pay the additional amount, especially as they did not ask me whether I wanted eat in or take away for the first dish but then tried to recover the extra amount for both dishes! Pretty shocking given the night before I went there with my friend, had a meal, and we weren’t charged extra for eating in. Great way to get rid of a couple...

Has been a staple of mine since moving to Pakenham 10 years ago. When I was diagnosed as coeliac (autoimmune triggered by eating gluten) I was shattered as many similar restaurants don't understand it, much less know how to cater for it, with many of the traditional ingredients containing gluten. This is where this establishment excelled. They both understand gluten-free and have had their menu clearly state what can and cannot be altered for quite some time. I have dined in often, and taken away about 5 times as many times. Even more impressively (as they are dinner only) they opened specially a few years ago to cater to a family birthday (as we were regulars) on the condition we did a set menu. Everyone here is as amazing as the food. Prices and service are great. Food is great. As long as their doors are open, I will keep on coming....

Worse customer service. We called at 8.30 and asked about the opening hours. Someone said 9.30pm. We reached there at 2 passed 9 and she said the rude girl who was at counter on the 24th of December. Sorry you can't sit just order take away.

Upon asking the reason she said yes I said 9.30 but you can only take the take away food.

My question is why did you advice at the first place that you would open till 9.30 and it is not right if someone comes 30 minutes earlier than the closing time. You are kicking them off with the extremely rude attitude.

Will never go back to this restaurant. You are not the only one in the area. Go home and close your restaurant...
