A great place offering a relaxing vibes and very comfortable ambience. We have visited the restaurant on numerous occasions but most recent visit was for our marriage Anniversary dinner. The moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed by a very customer friendly staff and were directed towards our table. We had a toddler with us so staff brought an “High Chair” and even assisted us in settling down the kid.
Sector 13 chicken and soya chaap were spicy and packed with flavour. The food was delicious. The tandoori starters were so moist and juicy. One of the dishes we ordered was their signature dish goat curry which was very authentic and full of balanced spices/flavours.
Staff was very friendly/attentive and they checked in offen to ensure that we were enjoying our food and that the food is upto our standards.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. While i was having a conversation with one of the staff, realised there’s some mis-understanding in the community. The restaurant have partnered with different food delivery platforms and locals order food through those platforms. Once the driver picks up the order from restaurant, restaurants can not control delivery times as often the drivers pick up multiple deliveries which results in delays in delivering orders and customers do not receive a hot meal. In my opinion, restaurants should not be blamed for receiving cold food orders as they do not have in-house delivery and solely rely on food delivery platform drivers which they can not control. But in many cases, customers leave negative feedback for restaurants which in my opinion Is unfair. Everyone have the right to complain if they receive a cold meal while dining in. I am definitely...
Read moreUpdate: Couldn't resist us to go here again. Main dishes are always amazing. Must try butter chicken, bhuna ghosht, karhai paneer, methi malai chicken. They have got best indian chef although I find they lack in the quality of some snacks such as golgappe but main dishes are always got great taste and flavour.
Finally been there to dine-in. Overall I find the food really tasty and it has authentic taste. Was excited to try pani puri shots in entree as they are my favourites in indian snacks however I was disappointed to see that they were packaged that we can get from Indian shop and as I know the texture of packaged poori which can be fried and I never get those one at home as well. Also the khatta meetha water needs more flavour. Malai chicken in entree, Bhoona ghosht and butter naan in mains was awesome and I would say it's a must try. Asked for medium to hot spicy kofta dish in mains and I think the chillies had killed the taste of actual kofta curry. So, don't ask to change the spiciness I would say although not sure if it will still have the expected flavour. Not very happy with lachha paratha as I have had very tasty lachha pranthas in other Indian restaurants. Environment wise its very nice, clean, fine dine I would say. Customer service was good as well but can be improved. Cost wise I found it is the most expensive Indian restaurant I have been to in Melbourne. Even the award winner restaurants such as Roti Boti are not that expensive. So that would make me think twice to order...
Read moreSuch a mix of succulent, tasty, rich, flavourful food - this is a Must Try. The spices, the bread the sauces, the meat…perfection! So; let’s break it down.
Delivery
Customer service: * Unfortunately we had to cancel our reservation but on both occasions when contacting the restaurant, the customer service representative was so helpful and understanding. Really excellent work.
Food: (why we are here): * Order: Lamb vindaloo (Hot), Chicken mudras (Medium), Tandoori Chicken Tikka (half), 3 garlic naan. Lamb Vindaloo (Hot) - They didn’t hold back, it was spicy hot, have some yoghurt handy. I loved every minute of it and the strong flavours and sauce were perfect! Not to mention the melt in your mouth Lamb. Not for the weak hearted. Chicken Mudras (Medium) - This spicy heat level would probably be more suited to the curry lovers - but still has a bite - the sauce again has rich authentic flavours and the ingredients are fresh and so tasty. Tandoori Chicken Tikka - beautiful bright orange colour to match the intense rich flavour & the chicken was juicy and succulent. Garlic Naan Bread - this bread is so fresh and tasty it rounded out the selection so well.
Overall: next time I am definitely dining in. This was the tastiest Indian cuisine I have had for a long time and certainly worth the price you pay for it. Highly Recommend for everyone to try!...
