Sam, the owner, her passion for food and hospitality shone through as she greeted us with genuine warmth and care. she guide us through the menu, offering thoughtful suggestions and tips that made choosing our dishes an absolute delight. It truly felt like we were dining in home ambience, surrounded by love and a shared appreciation for great food. Natural ingredients, fresh veggies and meat, sea food and was impeccably executed overall, reminding me of the vibrant street markets in Thailand.. Just when I thought the meal couldn’t get any better, we indulged in dessert, and oh my god—it was heavenly! The perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable dinner.

We were made to feel welcome on arrival and had 2 chilled bottles of water waiting on our table. Menu was extensive and well layed out. We chose prawn spring rolls, roti bread, stirfry lemon grass and chicken, garlic seafood noodles, coconut rice and finished with delicious banana fritter (which we shared). All of the food was delicious, hot and so well presented. Even my Lemon Lime and Bitters looked more like a cocktail, was very special. We met friends there and enjoyed the ambience and music, and the fact we could actually have a conversation without the need to yell across the table. Temperature was perfect. Our waitress was lovely and keen to help with any questions we had, we weren't pushed into buying drinks or dessert. We will definitely be back for more and encourage others to support this new business for some great friendly service, tasty dishes and very reasonable prices (didnt mind splitting the bill). This review is a long time coming! We have been coming to Aurora for quite some time, and we didn’t know what to expect when the new owners Sam & Ken took over. Well…..!!!! It was SO nice to meet our new hosts at this gorgeous and amazing Thai restaurant!! Not only were the hosts so obliging, friendly and awesome people, but the food here is so good every time! Food allergies, chilli tolerances, vegan, vegetarian requests etc. are always met with a smile and suggestions are given on what to have if unsure! The setting is so perfect, comfy and convenient. This is definitely our ‘Go To’ place, whether it’s a special occasion or a night off from cooking! I love trying all the things on the menu - but also have my favourites! All are very delicious! Guests we bring here, that haven’t been here before and have not been aware of Aurora, are always pleasantly surprised and very impressed!
