If this place didn't have a price on the menu I would have paid at least one and a half times more than what I did. From the welcoming of service staff when the door opened, to the warmth and ambient presentation of the dinning floor and well placed table settings giving rise to the mere perfect atmosphere. Every meal was well crafted and thought of. The creativity and balance of flavour from Entrée through to dessert was a marvel. The Chef, "who by the way", worked solo in the kitchen, made it look easy. He was busy that's for sure but not frantic and he worked with calmness and cleanliness that made it seamless. No crashing of pots and pans just well prepared meals for some 30+ people in the beautiful surrounds. The wait staff, kind and courteous and worked in tune with the chef to deliver what one consider a perfect dinning experience. There was no delay in food and timing was perfect as well. Meals were delivered together and filled with flavours that only a master can craft. We will be back and I would definitely dine alone in this place and would feel most comfortable in doing so just to enjoy the perfection of dinning. Read moreWe visited Bar Libretto for the first time with our in-laws, and the experience was wonderful!. The ambiance was intimate, cozy, and made the dinner feel really special. The food exceeded our expectations—especially the gnocchi, which was absolutely out of this world.
Although the service was slower than we would have liked due to being short-staffed, the manager was fantastic and made up for it with friendly conversation and attentiveness. The quality of the food more than compensated for the wait.
We'd love to see a wider variety of sides on the menu beyond just salad and fries—some steamed or roasted vegetables and fresh bread would be a great addition. If I had to nick pick, the ginger beer we had was a bit flat, but honestly, the wonderful atmosphere, service, and food more than made up for it.

We shared a perfect Spring dish of asparagus with vinaigrette, burrata, capers, quail egg and hazelnuts. Delicious. I had a magnificent squid ink pasta with prawn, a perfectly emulsified sauce and lots of juicy crustacean, and my partner enjoyed an amazing saffron risotto with confit duck and peas. For dessert I had affogato - house made icecream that needs to be tasted to be believed and my partner had the house made nut and honey tart with said icecream. I could not believe that our bill was only $175, which included two glasses of Chablis (delicious) and two bottles of Italian sparkling water.
