The food is good, not of the best of quality. I don’t have a negative opinion of this restaurant and obviously it’s a legitimate, admirable attempt at having a nice small business so I think they deserve our support. The place sounds clean and the cooking skills were satisfactory. We tried the Samosa, Lamb Curry and Lamb Biriyani. All three were cooked skillfully and pleasantly. We also ordered Chai and it was satisfactory as well. In particular, I was not pleased with the quality of lamb. The meat felt not fresh and rather expired based on the borderline unpleasant smell. But prices were not any considerably cheaper than the nearby classy Indian restaurant(s). The place is not classy or anything near the Indian restaurants near the CBD, however if you’re hungry and want some quick Indian meal in the area, this will not be a total let down. It is worth giving a try. I wish for the owners/managers to improve the quality of their services day by day. And the staff were nice and friendly. The lady tried to give us the best possible service. They do deserve at least 3 stars though.

Price fine fine in and quality is ZERO quality. Owner changed and food quality & portion size gone down. This is Chilli Paneer $15 500ml container and getting not even 300ml. Anyways, called restaurant and spoke to girl. I explained everything about portion size but in return no apologies plus she said: she will talk to the owner. Why owner?? Speak to the chef and explain it is not proper portion size. No resolution of customer's problem. She said: she can't do anything about it and hung up. Moral of the story is PLEASE DON'T GO THERE!!

Pros: parata Thali was very excellent. Veg Thali was also good we could pick two curries from the menu and I liked that a lot. Portions were sumptuous. Chilli chicken wasn’t good at all so I’d recommend sticking to core Indian food. Waitress asked us about the spice level for each dish and that was good. Cons: The salad could be improved by adding some spinach/rocket to make it more appealing. Waiting times for food was quite long may need to improve that. I definitely recommend this place for good North Indian food.

Yesterday, My wife and 3yo daughter, ordered chana-bhatura, waited outside for more than half an hour, went back in to confirm if it's ready, being told they are out of chana. For return of money, they failed to pay her back either in cash or by payId or reversal of transaction (she paid electronically), they took her bank details and said they'll pay to bank account..

When I got to know about this, went there with her, they told me chana had gone rotten.. THEY USE OLD FOOD STOCK THAT'S NEAR END OF LIFE. I took that piece of paper back from them that had bank details. Now they were able to return money in cash without even a single excuse.

This is the second time we had such an awful experience. Last time their food got my stomach badly upset. CONFIRMED THAT THEIR FOOD IS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR FRESH.

My wife and my daughter didn't deserve to keep waiting in cold and wind just for getting to know that they don't have what they charged money for.

When you open restaurant you know what you have and what you don't and what's past its best and shouldn't be sold for sake of customer's health.

BEWARE, YOU COULD GET SICK IF YOU EAT THEIR FOOD. AND THEIR CUSTOMER...

I just want to say that all you clowns complaining about Bikanos are probably competition. The things you complain about make me laugh. Look at how the profiles of people doing reviews only do restaurant reviews. Alarm bells? Get a life guys. I am an Aussie.. I got to Bikanos regularly. They have always been nice to me. Sometimes it's busy and there's a bit of a wait, but hey -- you can't blame them for making good food that everyone wants! I think these reviews are really unfair, so I just wanted to add my 2 cents. If anyone is looking to get a GOOD feed for an EXTREMELY fair price, you can't go past Bikanos. This isn't a fake review. I am making this review because I think the other reviews are BS and SPAM! - Leonard Wass (Werribee Resident). P.S. Bikanos, keep up the good work! You have GREAT food at a great price. You can't please everyone -- there's always going to be someone crying over nothing. P.P.S. To anyone who hasn't been to Bikanos, I guarantee if you go there you will be very happy with the food and the price. Pay little mind to these other so called reviews. They are fake! I...
