Ordered a cake for my son's 21st birthday, which happened to fall on a Monday and delivery on weekend is not possible with Brunetti. I had the cake delivered to work, as i wouldn't be home to receive it. The tracker showed that the delivery driver was still miles away, so, i rang Brunetti logistics and spoke to a women by the name of Niki, I asked her, if she could tell me how long before the cake would arrive and if she could contact the driver, she didn't want to nor she would give me a contact number, then she said she would call but was dishonest, as i questioned the driver she never told him i needed the cake early. She also turned off the tracking system, so that i could no longer see how far the driver was. This staff member was very dishonest, very cold and rude, no sympathy to help a distressed customer. Cake arrived at 5pm for a dinner party, the cake was still frozen solid and i had to serve it frozen. Never again, will i purchase Brunetti cake again.

Read moreI’m not one to leave bad reviews but my partner and I had a shocking experience yesterday. We arrived at the cafe around 1:15pm to get two cake slices for takeaway. Firstly, neither of the two girls working greeted us even when we went to order. My partner paid in cash and his change was thrown at him by the lady with the dark brown hair. The lady with the orange hair, she then proceeded to throw the box of cake slices at him/towards him. We left the cafe feeling so terrible! It was our first experience at this cafe and we were appalled. It made us feel so bad about ourselves. Mind you, we’ve been to the Carlton cafe hundreds of times and know half the staff there by name and have a great relationship with them. So it’s not a matter of us, it’s a matter of your staff. The service was absolutely disgusting. Were we being discriminated against or do your staff have absolutely zero respect for people?! Like I said, I’m not one to ever leave bad reviews but this kind of treatment was shocking to the point where we actually feel really crappy...
Read moreI was asked to review my delivery experience and being an older person found it a little confusing where to post my experience. Anyway I contacted Brunetti to ask about my panettone delivery as each time I checked the tracking it said the same thing it was going to be delivered. I wanted a more specific time as I had to be at home for a successful delivery, which was fair enough, however not having live information meant I wasn’t sure when my cake would arrive which I found a little annoying. I’m not complaining about the delivery person, he was a very nice guy and had a lot of deliveries to do, but if you are going to offer a tracking service it needs to be useful to the customer. I did ring and spoke to someone abut this and they were helpful and said they would pass this feedback to their logistics team. By the way, the cake looks wonderful....
