Visited Chunky Town at QV on 28 September 2025. Bought a corn dog, chips and chicken for $35 and waited ~30 minutes. Portions were small for the price and the wait felt long for a food-court stall. Not good value — I won’t be returning.
I feel deeply cheated. Never mind the ridiculous price, 30 minute wait was ridiculous when there were only 3 other people in line. If this wait time is considered normal i think it’s only fair to let the customer know upfront? People come to food courts with families or a group generally expecting fast service so we can all eat at the same time. Half an hour makes all the difference to how someone’s day runs.
It’s in a food court so you aren’t even paying for a dine in experience, you’re literally waiting for 30 minutes standing around. I can’t believe there is a weekend surcharge for this, how is this justified?
I feel so deeply cheated, and just wished I saved my money and went to somewhere else instead.
Save your money and go to one of the many better priced eateries in QV with faster serving times. Basically anywhere is better- for this price you can get table service at any of the restaurants upstairs -which have much better food and much better service for the same price.
If you insist on eating at chunky town it’s only because they serve something you can’t get elsewhere. We just wanted chicken and chips for our kid and honestly would have been better off...
