Cinnamon Club — Restaurant in Melbourne

*See Edit below - If I thought the food was good before, the recipe looks to have improved. The chicken is SO tender and everything is perfectly cooked to perfection. One of the better Uber eats options if you're hungry in the evening and ultimately the best Indian Restaurant in the South East region. We experimented with every other Indian restaurant until we landed on Cinnamon Club and we haven't been elsewhere since.

The key for me is the sweetness of the butter chicken. Be it Cinnamon or some other sweet spice they've added something to give it an extra kick and it WORKS. Well done.

*Edit - I've lowered the score to a 3. While their best is CLEARLY a cut above the rest their worst is putrid. I'd bet my right hand but this looks to be the SECOND time we've received leftovers. The first time I got a bad batch of butter chicken (tasted bitter, nowhere near as good) I was told that they'd had a big function at the restaurant and this was the result of the leftovers from the function. They did the right thing and sent out another butter chicken, freshly made, infinitely better and I was satisfied to keep the 5/5 review. I've just received another Butter Chicken tonight and it tastes as poor as the time we received the function leftovers. I apologise if I'm incorrect but if I'm right, CINNAMON CLUB are a quality restaurant with GOOD quality food but they take nasty shortcuts and frankly I'll either hold off in future or call to ask it be made fresh, which is a little ridiculous. Both Lassi's also arrived warm, hardly ideal for a yoghurt drink....

I am DONE with this cheapskate of a business. This is the FOURTH time in about seven orders we've received tasteless and dry LEFTOVERS from some other batch they've cooked up during the day (butter chicken + naan bread) and we will never order from them again.

The sad part is, their best is actually fantastic, the butter chicken is fragrant and delicious and honestly is amongst some of the best we've had in this area but after THREE sets of apologies and excuses regarding us being sent late night leftovers, the FOURTH time has me convinced this is a clear management directive to cut costs, as opposed to the explanations we received regarding it being a "mistake" on the chef's part. The first two times we got the food remade and it was unsurprisingly delicious, the third (and now 4th) time we've just gotten it refunded and I refuse to entertain their promises of "we always make our food fresh, we're sorry for the mix up".

There is a MASSIVE distinction between their best and their worst and I already feel ill after 4 mouthfuls tonight . We've thrown out the rest and I hope this review serves as a warning to all customers ordering from this business. Ask for it to be cooked fresh and I guarantee you won't be disappointed, however take caution if you don't. I understand businesses need to cut certain corners to survive in this climate but this particular shortcut is an absolute disgrace and I hope they learn...

I recently hosted my Sons first birthday party at Cinnamon Club and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The venue itself was stunning, with elegant décor and ample space to accommodate our guests comfortably.

The staff at Cinnamon Club were incredibly professional and attentive. From the initial planning stages to the execution of the event, they were always there to assist with any questions or concerns we had. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our event ran smoothly was truly commendable.

Now, let’s talk about the food. The food by Cinnamon Club was nothing short of spectacular. The menu options were diverse and delicious, catering to various dietary preferences with ease. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, and the quality of the ingredients used was evident in every bite. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the food was, and many even asked for the recipes!
