Went here today and when we arrived were not greeted by the staff. When we sat down the young blonde waitress said we can order through her instead of the QR code and she then she proceeded to “ignore” us for 15 minutes and tend to other tasks which were not customer related and we had to get her attention to finally order our food. The young blonde girl kept making rude eye contact and making me feel uncomfortable and walking at snails pace acting like she didn’t want to be there. When we went to pay the brunette staff member asked if we wanted to split the bill which we said yes and she proceeded to say “actually can you pay all together that’s too hard”… which made it awkward and she seemed “annoyed” at the idea of wanting to split the bill after offering. Food was good but service below average. Staff need...

Situated centrally on bustling Malvern Road is this chic modern cafe serving Australian brunch and lunch classics - they even have a separate burger specials menu!

We tried the following dishes:

🥞 Clubhouse pancakes ($24) 🍳Okonimiyaki ($24.50) 🥗 Beetroot grain salad ($25) added chicken ($4.50) 🍞 kids menu - Baby ham and cheese omlette with sourdough ($11.50)

The kids dish was great, it was a bit more creative than your usual eggs on toast.

Feedback on the okonomiyaki is that it came out quite burnt, not quite what a classic Japanese pancake normally looks like in colour.

There is ample seating inside plus there is a cute outdoor courtyard at the back to soak up the sun or bring your fur babies along. Plus high chairs as well for the little ones.

Note: although I dined as a guest of the venue, all views...

DEFINITELY ONE TO AVOID! Just back from a Mother's Day brunch and was so appalled, I felt compelled to write a review. We waited 40 mins to be seated as our 11.30am booking didn't seem to be taken into consideration! Staff is exceptional at avoiding eye contact, being rude and seem extremely incompetent. Waited 45 mins for our coffees and mine arrived in a chipped cup which I sent back - the replacement never arrived. As we settled the bill, no apology was given but I was told I could have one in a takeaway cup if I wanted. The food is overpriced and average at best - with the exception of the overnight oats which were dry, bland and inedible. Will not be returning - I hoped a fairly average previous experience was a one-off. But this cafe is...

We dropped by on new years day to have a nice brunch after our crushing hangovers. Service was great and the venue was bright, clean and cheerful. Unfortunately the food and coffee and not amazing though. The coffee they used(Inglewood) or perhaps the barista, I don't want to place blame, was very bland and milky and none of the blends flavour notes came through. The food similarly was presented nicely but was fairly average. The Mojo Bennie was oversalted and unbalanced. The chilli scrambled eggs were better but slightly overcooked and dominated by the bacon flavour rather than the chilli. 3/5

Beautiful chic brunch spot located in Malvern serving brunch classics & amazing coffee the cafe was spacious and also has a cute outdoor courtyard We tried: • Our coffees were amazing, especially the iced mocha (+ ice cream is a must!) • scrambled eggs, there was a spicy kick to it though sourdough toast was rock hard :( • Smashed avo, a classic can never go wrong • Deluxe cheeseburger, juicy beef patty & delicious crispy fries Awesome food & coffee, will drop by again if I'm in the area!
