A Melodic Haven for Coffee Enthusiasts🎶🎵🎶 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Collector's Coffee House nestled in the heart of Mitcham, this charming coffee shop is not just a haven for caffeine enthusiasts but also a symphony for the soul. The unique blend of aromatic coffee, cozy ambiance, and guitar music creates an unforgettable experience that transcends the ordinary.  From the moment you step inside the Collector's Coffee House the warm and inviting atmosphere envelopes you. The selection of background music complements the cozy setting, creating an ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between lively and laid-back. The coffee, undoubtedly the star of the show, is expertly brewed to perfection. Whether you're a fan of robust espressos, creamy lattes, or adventurous specialty blends, the menu caters to all tastes. The baristas here are not just skilled in the art of brewing; they are also passionate about creating a personalized experience for every customer. The cozy corners with comfortable seating and the gentle hum of conversations make it an ideal spot for both solitude seekers and those looking to connect with friends. The well-thought-out decor, adorned with musical vibe, adds a touch of character without overwhelming the space. Whether you're here in Collector's Coffee House for a quiet afternoon with a good book, a catch-up session with friends, or to savor the pleasures of a well-crafted cup of coffee, this coffee shop with guitar background music is a gem waiting to be discovered. It's not just a place to refuel; it's a destination that harmonizes the simple joys of life – great coffee, soothing melodies, and warm camaraderie.

Racist staffs , not recommended at all. This morning, my husband and I went to grab coffee. I clearly told the staff that I’m having the coffee here, not take aways, but they brought me our coffee, they were in takeaway cups. When I asked why I didn’t get a proper cup, the girl told me they were short on glass cups. However, every customer who came in after me was given a glass cup to have their coffee in store. I also noticed nearly 20 empty cups stacked by the coffee machine. I found this to be extremely rude and asked for an explanation. The female staff member kept saying "thank you" in an extremely sarcastic attitude without even offering an apology. I would not recommend this café based on this poor service.

Two stars because we came purely for the coffee. It says it's the best coffee in Mitcham, and the ratings look high. I really looked forward to the coffee when it arrived. However, it was totally disappointing. There was a lack of aroma and tasted like 7-11 coffee. I forgot to check what beans they used, but it's either the poor choice of beans or the lack of skill of the barista - poor calibration and grind, and the milk was a little over frothed. We also ordered baguette to go with our coffee. They were good, but nothing outstanding so I wouldn't come here just for that. It's a nice environment with some books for customers to read and colouring in for the kids. But again, I wouldn't come here just for this.

Updated the service from 2 to 1 due to the response provided.. the irony is there was talk about honesty. A female staff member cleared the table and took the dirty chai glass away but left quickly when they noticed my coffee cup which was still full... I did not want to make any issues at the time and wanted to just leave. However my sis wanted to inform the staff in case they did not realise the milk was not frothed properly. Imagine our surprise when we received a lack lustre reaction after they were informed. If the male staff member was not the person to talk to, he could have asked you to come over instead of staring at us blankly.

For your information, please do not make assumptions on my coffee knowledge. I have been ordering flat whites for almost 2 decades and I know what the difference is between a flat white and lattes. The truth is your milk was not correctly frothed and was very watery which is consistent with milk frothed at a higher than normal temperature resulting in a watery consistency instead of a the normal creamy consistency.

If you wanted to bring out the sharper taste of coffee... It was not the case..a distinct burnt milk is very different from the bitterness of the coffee . I take offense to your comment on my wanting to just leave a negative review for the sake of it. Isn't it silly to spend $12 just to leave you a negative review?!!!

Original message

When to get a coffee and the flat white was the worse I had. The milk was flat (not what I wanted), watery and on the burnt side. The lady who made it saw I did not drink it and didn't want to know about it when clearing the table. When I finally mentioned it to a different staff member, they just looked at us and was quite dismissive. This is the reason for the 1 star rating.

The place looks great... Pity about the rest of...

If you are looking for a cafe that serves great coffee and has a unique vibe, you should check out Collector’s Coffee House in Mitcham. The cafe is decorated with vintage memorabilia, guitars, books, and collectibles that create a charming and cozy atmosphere. You can also enjoy the outdoor seating area and admire the original 1935 Hornby train set and the 1956 Olympic tickets and programs. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the coffee is smooth and delicious. They use ethically sourced beans and specialty roasted blends, and they also offer biodegradable and recyclable cups and lids. The food is also yummy and made to order, with a variety of options from breakfast to lunch. I ordered a bacon and egg baguette and it was filling and satisfying. They also have some tempting desserts that I will try next time. Collector’s Coffee House is a local gem that deserves more recognition. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy, and...
