Had a large group go with ages from 4 to 92 thinking it would suit everyone and the old and young could have dinner and watch the floor show and leave the others to party till 3 . The line to line up for vegi's and salad was so long people gave up roast vegi's were cold . and the meat that comes around chicken wings and sausage were nice but expected more the steak they leave until everyone has finished so no one really wants it ... dessert was served while people are still eating main meal. Had to wait for ever to get served for a drink .. Again the tiny little area hundreds of people have to line up for the veggi's etc is truly disgraceful. They have everyone up dancing while meal is being served which is fine but everyone is waiting for the floor show to start in the end most and i mean two thirds of our group left so the two main people we chose this place for left before the floor show started at 10:45 PM The people that stayed only did so to be polite . The floor show in the end was not worth the wait and we all left the minute it finished we would have left during it but they open the doors to the public so you are so jammed in you actually cant leave . Very disappointed all around enough so that i am writing a review when i have never done so before . But wish i had read one before we booked . Oh and i forgot half of the few people left to see the floor show couldnt actually see it because of the massive posts in the way which totally blocked their view of the floor show.
Would not recommend for the food...
Read moreMy family members have been unfortunate experience at that pub. We were invited from person(s) that had a formal party and the owner treated our relatives with poor service. That pub has not got adequate facilities for disabled people and we were spoken to by employees as if we had stolen their handbag. Then at one part of the evening over the meal that we had we asked for another type of main course due to our family members dietary needs and they said no. I do not recommend when you have no sign to allow your client an option if they have a medical treatmant plan and are only allowed to eat certain foods. We had been made to look like idiots when at the entry we asked about the food and then once they took payment and we were inside they were aggressive and did not deliver our service. They failed their agreement with our family members making the experience not enjoyeable and their has been restaurants who have made superb food. That pub copocabana is a consistant failure. We have friends who also were with us that one occassion who have not going back and do...
Read moreBooked Copacabana for a friends 23rd on their "Masquerade" night. My booking was for 23 people, 9 people did not show which I was told I will be charged $30 per head for the no shows, and $49 for the 14 that did show. that wasnt a problem. The problem was when it was time to fix up the bill the manager had put down 17 people showed up and that 7 were a no show. Really? Upon trying to explain him his mistake he rudely Interrupted and told me he counted himself how many were on my table. As if I didnt know who my friends were! As to avoid a heated argument and to ruin what was meant to be a fun evening I just paid what the manager thought I "owed"
Food was terrible, you cant see what you are eating. Everytime the waiters came around with meat I had to flick on my phones torch just to make sure it was meat! Show didnt start untill about 11pm and was average at best, the whole evening was just so disorganized that it was comical..
Will never return again, all of my friends felt the exact same. Avoid...
