I was sad to hear that the previous place was Komo. I really enjoyed their Japanese food but I guess they sold their business and turned into a Korean restaurant (which I'm very welcome to see)
Came here for the pre opening and was quite impressed. Ordered the 국밥 (gukbab) and it was great. Looked forward to the full opening and it was ok.
I find the menu is distinctly unique to other Korean restaurants in my area like they offer 국밥 and 모든전 (though different from the pictures) they were nice.
The biggest let down was the customer service. I get it, it's a family owned and they got youngsters working there. The two boys need to up skill their service. I give him credit that he acknowledged the responsibility of handling alcohol but he could've said it in a better way such as "I'm sorry I'm underage, but happy ask my colleague to get you a beer/ Soju".
I totally get it it was busy too and they made mistakes but please don't let your frustrations or show negative facial expressions out to customers. It's not professional. The woman waitress was very kind and very nice.
I'll definitely come back to try out other things. I hope the boys improve...

The food is simply exceptional – every dish is fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. The quality of ingredients is top-notch, and you can truly taste the care and passion put into each recipe. The kimchi is perfectly balanced, the BBQ is cooked to perfection, and the stews are rich and comforting – exactly like a warm hug in a bowl.

Read moreDine in with friends and family, group of 6. We ordered lunch specials, pork Galbi ssampbap, and kimchi pork stew soup. Theres no side dishes serve for everyone we ask for side dishes when food is served and was told that it’s only for the person ordered pork galbi. It’s very unusual, never went to any Korean restaurant serve side dishes only for certain orders, or maybe it’s a new trend? Lunch specials - spicy por and pork galbi is very very salty. My friend had to drink a lots of water to eat the dish. We ordered two kimchi pork stew soup and only one order was put through by waiter second soup serve when everyone else almost finished their food. The waiter couldn’t remember our order, he asked us to repeat of order and didn’t bring any note to note down orders. After couple of minutes he came back and asked one of us to confirmed order, for the third time.
Weekend surcharge is 10%, the food price is not super expensive but I wouldn’t come back again considering the...
