Since August 2023, a fresh Korean and Japanese-inspired brunch spot has opened its doors in Elsternwick! Co-Founded by Allan and Jung, this cafe infuses their unique twist into classic brunch dishes, promising a fusion-inspired culinary experience.
Galbi Sando [$23]: This standout dish features slow-braised Korean beef brisket and slaw salad between slices of fluffy milk bread, drizzled with a delightful yuzu dressing. Served with a side of chips reminiscent of McDonald's fries, it's a satisfying treat for any palate.
Salmon Mazemen [$26] + Egg [$3]: A creative blend of ramen and poke bowl, this brothless ramen incorporates edamame, broccolini, and a soy dressing for a light yet nourishing meal.
Dawngarita [$7.50]: Perfect for yuzu enthusiasts, this tangy yet refreshing beverage is a must-try.
Sakura Matcha Latte [$7.50]: Fragrant with cherry blossom, this latte offers a unique twist, though some may find the milk slightly overpowering the matcha.
🤎 Tiramisu Canelé: Indulge in the sensational tiramisu cream atop a perfectly baked Canelé, delivering a delightful crunch on the outside and moistness inside. 💖 Strawberry Canelé: Fresh strawberries and cream top this sweet treat, offering a burst of fruity flavor. 🩶 Hot Cross Bun Madeleine: A limited Easter special, these Madeleines boast a crunchy exterior and crumbly sponge cake interior. 💛 Yuzu Madeleine: With a yuzu glaze enhancing its flavor, this Madeleine is a delightful treat, perfect alongside a cup of coffee.

I feel their food is very soulful. I have found their staples on the menu are wonderful, my favourite is the Brekky Bun. I have had this alot and it is delicious. I love their range of changing madeleines too. The Yuzu is great, but the the matcha was THE best so far. They have weekend specials as well, so check instagram to see what is coming up for that weekend. I experienced the Bulgogi and eggs today - Korean beef dish with 2 fried eggs and a Korean potato pancake. It was really wonderful and I find their meals a great start to the day. The bulgogi wasn't too sweet either and when you add a slice of lemon to it all, really lifts it. All the dishes here are well thought out and they have a good handle on what their customers like. I always make sure i try the new eateries in the area but this one is my favourite. I love it that they are open from 7am too everyday as I'm an early riser and it's great to be able to have a good breakfast to start the day. Something that Elsternwick has lacked. The ambiance is great, the seating and decor are wonderful. I just am so grateful we have this in our suburb as there is no part of this cafe that is...

We tried: 🍳 Bulgogi Egg 🍞 Bene 🥪 Galbi Sando 🥐 Hot Cross Bun Madeleine 🥯 Canelés ☕️ Soy Latte 🍹 Dawngarita
Everything we tried was simple, but delicious! The bulgogi eggs had yummy marinated bulgogi with fried eggs on a crispy korean pancake, while the bene came with fall-off-the-bone tender short rib with perfectly poached eggs on a corn and potato korokke. The galbi sando was full of flavour, with galbi pulled beef and slaw sandwiched between fluffy brioche. Their sweet treats were also amazing! The canelés are an absolute must and their hot cross bun madeleine was super fluffy and moist! They also do great drinks - the dawngarita was super citrusy with yuzu and peach jelly and coffee...
