Desi Down Town is awesome - Iâm so glad they have opened! The food at Desi is some of the best Indian food I have had! The Prawn Malabar curry is especially a standout. It has a thick and creamy coconut base but itâs light and flavourful to eat - a lot of spice and tang. The prawns in the curry were fresh and tender, and filled up the box!. The Kashmiri naan is also a must-have. The naan is soft and thick, but fluffy and easy to tear as well. The dried fruit and nut stuffing was a perfect combination of sweet and smoky. Asked for it be mid spice & it was so mild & bland. The Eggplant curry was saturated with oil - see pic & the Garlic Naan didnât have any Garlic on it & were really dry. Thanks to them we enjoyed our brunch.
