Great neighbourhood pub! Grabbed dinner here recently before a gig nearby and when we arrived the place was busy (both inside and out!) which is always a great sign. We thankfully had made a booking and were taken to our table in the dining room. The room was perfect as it was tucked away enough to talk over our meals but also not far from the action. We ordered the Spiced Cauliflower Bites with Chipotle Mayo (to start), and the Beer Battered Fish and Chips and the Steak Sandwich (from the specials board). The food came out quickly and was really delicious - just what you expect from a great pub! The staff were super friendly and attentive and the music was on point. All up we could see why everyone loves this place and why it was so lively! We wish that this was our local!

Really friendly atmosphere and clientele, the joker raffle is always fun to watch. Staff are nice. Paid just $32 for a pot and 2 gin and tonics which was a nice suprise compared to most bars charging that for one drink these days. I got the eggplant parmigiana which was pretty average and quite overpriced - finished it to not put it to waste but definitely wouldn't order it again. Delicious chips and cauliflower bites!

Sports bar in the front and warm, comfortable dining area in the back - complete with comfortable chairs and tables; chesterfield sofas; a cupboard with games for children; and a small outdoor courtyard. The food is excellent, the staff are lovely, and they have live music on Sunday afternoons. All in all, a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or an evening.

Didn't have a meal but by the sound of head chef it's all in order, atmosphere, set up is a yes. In the back streets and lanes of Melbourne the local pub was/is part of the community, something i don't see as much these days. But you walk into Brandon Hotel and you feel like your home. You can let your guard down, sit out the front and enjoy a coldy, enjoy the character of the pub read the history on the walls. Sit back and forget everything. I get out into the country and the local pubs are closing, being pushed out by prices and the convenience of multi nationals and government money sniffers. We have to support pubs like this. This place is a bonus for the community. Maybe I'll get...

I've celebrated several birthdays and events here and it is a lovely, cosy spot to congregate, with a roaring fire and comfy sofas in addition to your standard seating arrangements. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is consistently good. Larger groups can take longer to get served, so it's a good idea to order separately and tell them that you want the food to come out as it's ready, otherwise they'll wait to serve everyone together and some people will end up with cold (but still good!) food. It's not too loud and is pretty...
