Terrible experience at Dominos Cheltenham Franchise. A lot different to the Mordialloc Dominos which we thoroughly enjoyed the other night. This store provided incorrect serving sizes, ordered the 50 piece chicken bucket and received way less than the amount advertised, he made an excuse saying new packaging which was a blatant lie, the chicken inside did not even taste like chicken and was slimy and gross, we definitely feel robbed of $18.40. We know what chicken from here is meant to taste like and was far from it, there was hair from one of them which was black hair from the cook or the server, as we do not have this hair colour. The packaging of the chicken box did not belong to the promotion, and would be lucky to receive 30 pieces, once the hair was found we felt gross and therefore binned the rest.
We then ordered two mini beef and onion pizzas which were received with next to no beef toppings approx. 3 spread across two seperate pizzas and was dry, this was taken home to eat when discovering the poor dominos standards and looked very stingy and not to their satisfaction guarantee.
Abhil was disgustingly rude on the phone and said that we can't get a refund and to go to head office which is what we are doing regardless as its not ok to treat paying customers this way and aggressively yelled and hung up the phone on us when we expressed our concerns when we got home...
Read moreDec 31 2024 - I know it’s late NYEve- but we grabbed a couple of Pizzas - supreme and Meat lovers and they were as bad as any pizza could be. The base was as dry as a boot, like bread, almost no sauce - we couldn’t even eat them. You have to be desperate sadly.
New ownership got rid of the thickshakes instead of fixing the machine. Talk about narrow sighted and poor form. They’ve lost all our family pizza business as well now. It’s like a McDonald’s franchise owner saying he doesn’t want to serve ice cream sundaes “because we’re all about the hamburger”. McDonald’s wouldn’t let them pick and choose what they want I’d suggest Dominoes do the same. Cheltenham Domino’s is all about the $ and not about what the customers want. No good!
Thick Shake machine has been broken for months! Seems owner won’t pay to fix it. Really Poor form making the workers do it all by hand with so much mucking around . They are better when out of the machine at -14c as advertised.
Their thick shakes are to die for and will be one of the best you have ever had anywhere - and that’s saying something!! They are addictive made with Milo.
As for the pizzas, best when piping hot and fresh, and if you can be bothered with coupons and codes they are amazing value. I mean who sells $5 pizza? Dominoes do. Experiment with the bases to see what you like best they each have their place. Thin n crispy...
Read moreWife was away and i was being lazy so I decided to order pizza. Happened to drive past dominoes today and figured i would give them a go. (Havent tried them for about 10years after a big mistake in Canberra on night) Delivery was very quick i will give them that... Didn’t have massive expectations so actually quite surprised it tasted ok.(just) However i ordered the deep pan crust on my ‘the lot’ pizza for an extra 3.95. My girls had a regular Hawaian For an extra 3.95 you would think my crust would actually be thicker than the regular one no? Apparently not. Anyway i spent just under $60 on dinner and was completely underwhelmed. If you are local to the Cheltenham Dominos do yourself a favour and go to skippy pizza charman rd near balcome rd... fantastic pizza and a “large” is actually bigger than a bread plate. About double the size, a third cheaper and 3times the taste. (They use fresh ingredients ) No I’m not related to them or mates just been in the area for a long time and should have known better than to think dominos could compete with an actual pizza joint. I can only blame myself and never ever ever do it...
