Dosa Villas — Restaurant in Melbourne

The staff have no customer service skills, no smile, no welcome that they have a customer at their restaurant They have an open kitchen which is ok, but the staff have no chef uniforms, and no one wears a hair net, that itself shows that hygiene standards are poor, no one knows if they wash their hands at all ( as the overall lack of hygiene is evident when you just look across the counter), Food is average. Ordered kerala Porotta and Chicken curry. They almost forgot my order until i reminded them after 40 min, and then it arrived in 2 seconds. kerala Porotta was not real, it was just reheated frozen stuff from supermarket and the chicken curry as just tomato paste. This is my second time take away from Dosa Villa since last two months. I am very impressed and thankful because food was so yummy ! I loved ❤️ the dosa, idly and vada. My children loved the food and were asking for more. Food was fresh, yummy and in generous amount. I requested few things to the lady while placing my order over the phone and she made sure the food was as per requests. I left review in the past where i was not happy with the food but these two experiences were very convincing to delete the last review. I forgot to take picture of this yummy food and half way through realised that i must upload some pictures. Sorry 😜for these half eaten food pictures. My partner introduced me to Dosa Villas in Glenroy, and we have been going there once every six months. It is very close to the station, in the town centre - near Coles, Dominos and a big Indian store. Salvos and Vinnie's are right next to it if you are interested in getting a good bargain. It is run by a small group of people. Their curries are authentic and what I really liked is - they recommended combinations to try, for instance chicken vindaloo and rice.
