Falafel was nice but am discouraged by the store being stingy. I order a zatar bread for the falafel wrap... There was a pile of zatar - the top one had heaps of spice and looked delicious.. the girl lifted up the top one and all the ones underneath were empty. She took a bare bones zatar for my food and placed the top one back so it lookd like they were all delicious. To me, that's super dishonest, I still paid the price for the zatar.. why not give me the same product? At that, you've lost me as a customer (and I usually love falafel, would have eaten it for lunch every day seeing as I work so close) all to save a few bucks on spice.. bad business imo
Also falafel was very dry because they were extremely stingy on the hummus too
Cheap things they were stingy on, if they considered the customers first, they would make that money back in happy...

My problem is the service. I was served by a young man who was so unenthusiastic and unsmiling that it put a damper on my day. He was unhelpful, didn't explain anything and also didn't mention that they didn't have cauliflower (which is why I purchased the 'veg' wrap in the first place). Then when I asked for pickles he said he already put them in (when he had only put in pickled cabbage, not pickles which were right next to it.).
It takes just as much effort to smile and be helpful. Truly discouraging service.
I got my food at midday on Jun 12th. (Incase the manager wants to know who I am referring to)

Read moreThey serve the best falafel on this side of the city. My goto lunch spot for quick wraps. I often get a couple of their zatter flat breads to serve on the side for dinner at home.
Portion sizes are perfect for 13/14 bucks.
Today, I had to drop my kid off at school early without lunch. I picked up lunch from here to deliver it before lunch hour, they lady was kind enough to cut her wrap into 2 pieces, pack them individually, placed them in a takeout container, all extra steps they don’t usually do.
This is the first place I visited for lunch on my first day in Melbourne & has become my goto lunch spot when I visit woolies...
