We came here today for lunch and OMG is all we can say we felt like we were walking into aesthetics heaven this place is nothing we have seen before it overlooked Swanson st the park trams it was so Gorgeous.
Now onto the food and service the service from our waiter was absolutely impeccable he was the kindest most lovely server with a beautiful mannerism he made us feel so special and included in the experience that it made our time here the best we have ever had and that’s saying something.
We got was the $79 3 course set menu from red balloon it came with x3 entrees (Cauliflower, Arancini and buffalo wings) we also got the steak and salmon from the menu we also got truffle fries and salad to share desert which was chocolate ganache and cheesecake and 2 drinks of our choice.
The 3 entrees to share the arancini, cauliflower and buffalo wings they were full of flavour and spices and beautifully presented with a melt in your mouth flavour.
Than we had the steak and salmon the steak was beautifully cooked with a selection of 2 sauces (Mushroom and red wine) the salmon absolutely complimented the freekah they went amazing together the salmon was cooked to perfection than we had truffle fries and salad to share that salad dressing was so good salad was fresh and crisp the chips were so full of flavour it was like an explosion of flavours just divine than we had the Chocolate ganache and cheesecake the cheesecake was so creamy the strawberry sauce went so well with it and the ganache was so decadent the just the right amount of sweetness.
Than we had 2 drinks lemonade sunrise (I think it’s called) and lemon lime bitters we could have got any drinks that was on the set menu.
So for anyone looking for an amazing experience with great food and atmosphere and service to match this is your go to place we will definitely be back here again as everything was just perfect.

Read moreI’m going to give Father’s Office five stars as the only complaint I had was that after about 7 pm the music was a bit too loud. This did impact on some conversation with my friend. However, it is a bar and they do have music so sometimes you have to accept these things!
I cannot fault the service. I use a wheelchair and the dining room is not accessible. However they have tables in the accessible area for bar food. The manager was fantastic and set up a table in this area so it had the dining room feel. He also set up a tab for us to save me having to go back and forth to the bar, pay each time and get someone else to carry my drink and food back to the table. He looked after us the whole night, making sure the waitress was their for our needs. She was fantastic, really friendly and efficient and answered any questions we had. I cannot thank the staff enough for their consideration of my disability needs without me having to ask.
From the street, the normal access point is up a flight of stairs. However there is clear signage that directs you to the accessible lift just inside QV. In Father’s Office is a wonderfully large wheelchair accessible toilet/baby change room which has an easy to open door and a lock that is easy to manage.
I love the way this Speakeasy bar/restaurant was set up with brilliant decor and venue specific outfits worn by the staff. It has a really great vibe and all the patrons were relaxed and not boisterous.
I will become a regular as the menu is yum, yum, yum! We shared a double fried chicken burger with chips, arancini balls, and cheeseburger spring rolls. All the food had its own individual flavours and everything was well seasoned and quite frankly extremely delicious. There was a large variety of condiments to go with each of the food each of the meals. The mustard for the spring rolls was spectacular!
I would definitely recommend this venue and can see why it has been running so...
Read moreI went here with a group of friends for bottomless cocktails on a Saturday night. There were 9 of us and we were all cramped around 2 little cocktail tables. $45 each for an hour and a half of bottomless cocktails, but we didn’t get served until 30 minutes in. We got to the booking exactly on time (9:00) and weren’t allowed in until 9:10 which was weird ?? I do not feel we got our value back at ALL. Another thing - even when you did get a drink, it’s strength was questionable. I know how much alcohol makes me tipsy/drunk, and I barely felt a thing so I’m not sure they even put the right amount of alcohol in their drinks. Also, for the bottomless cocktails, you are strangely limited. You can order a tequila sunrise, but not a shot of tequila, even though in theory that’s the same amount of alcohol ???? I had to go up to the bar multiple times to ask for service, and though the waiters were VERY kind and obviously severely understaffed, the management were rude. One of the bathroom doors doesn’t have a lock on it which seems just so low effort, the security guard was very rude and came up to us at the end of the session and said “you need to leave. It’s 10:30” EVEN THOUGH we intended on staying beyond the bottomless cocktails to purchase proper drinks, and over all I was so so disappointed with the evening. I wish I could get a refund because me and my friends spent a lot of money here and it was not worth it. Please please do not come here, especially on a Saturday night. I promise there are other bars that can offer you a better experience. I know this review is bitter and angry, and I’m sure there are many wonderful people that work here, but honestly it was...
