Great chicken but awful service! Would not recommend. Staff members are very aggressive and unhappy to do their jobs. Had one particular female come up and say “Can I take the menus?” in a hostile tone that didn’t even sound like SHE wanted to take the menus in the first place! Don’t ask if you don’t even want to do it. Although it’s evident they have a back room, about 5-6 staff sat a table right next to mine for their staff meals. There, they chewed with their mouths open, laughed extremely loud, and made an overall ruckus - all whilst sitting right next to customers and wearing the uniform of Gami. Whilst I respect that the people who work in hospitality need to eat during their shifts, is it really appropriate to be doing it seated at a table where all the other customers sit? I imagine they store their personal belongings somewhere behind where customers are, and don’t see why I should have to sit anywhere near a bunch of staff guffawing and spitting their food everywhere when I’m trying to eat. The staff that WERE still working ended up being awful to customers, slamming food and drinks on the table without announcing the names of them. I had a waitress land a lemon-lime bitter right in front of my partner, saying absolutely nothing as she walked away, even though that drink was for my friend sitting across from me. This left us confused as she didn’t say what the drink was and didn’t even bother clarifying who it belonged to. The waitress wasted no time at all running away from the table like the coward she is, all so she could join in on the excessively loud conversation of her co-workers that made it seem like it was open mic night at Gami on a Friday afternoon! After seeing how their staff behave, it’s no wonder at all that they push for you to use the QR codes to order - since these waiters and waitresses would rather do anything else but actually serve their customers or treat them with respect. Thankfully for them, there are some positives about this place. Prices are pretty competitive and they have a good range of menu items, all of which come with images if you order online. It’s easy to pay in advance and get your food, and the chicken I received was cooked perfectly - beautifully tender and juicy. Across all items, flavour is great and there is definitely something on the menu for everyone - from chips to fried chicken, to burgers to cocktails. Just remember that Gami is a chain. You can find all of the above positives at any other location. And considering how terrible the staff at Fountain Gate are, I highly suggest going to any Gami in the state that ISN’T this one (:

Tonight, my wife ordered the Gami Army Stew, which, as shown in the promotional photo, clearly includes sausages. However, when she received her meal, there were fewer than five small pieces of ham—and no sausages at all. We asked why the sausages were missing, and the staff replied, “Sausages are not Halal and therefore not allowed.” When we followed up and asked why we weren't informed about this at the time of ordering, the response we got was, “So what do you want, extra ham?” With all due respect to those who follow Halal dietary requirements, this is a regular franchise of Gami Chicken & Beer—not a designated Halal outlet. If an item on the menu conflicts with religious dietary practices, that should be addressed with the head office, or the dish should be modified and clearly labelled accordingly. At the very least, customers should be informed of any changes and given a choice when ordering. Quietly removing sausages without disclosure and hoping customers won’t notice is unacceptable. We’re really disappointed with how this was handled.

( you should not have that as a way of ordering if it fails all the time and charge your customers twice) it’s just unacceptable having to pay again it is your ordering system which you heavily promote in store. Paid for the same food again the bill was 0.75 cents more ( card surcharge if you do not order using there online system). Ordered a Kimichi fried rice which according to the menu is served with a salad however the one we got was with chips when asked the reason for this change apparently it’s only during dinner service they serve it with salad.( specify that on your menu!!! What you are doing is false advertising). Food was ok for what it is. Service just rubbish.

My partner and I went in for a late lunch, there was probably about 4 other tables eating, with 2 more guests behind us whilst we were ordering. I came in to use my birthday discount and I was incredibly disappointed. First of all the cashier didn't believe me about my discount despite having a text message, an email and a web browser saying how to use my discount, which stated I just need to show it at the register. After ordering it took about a half an hour for a regular serve of boneless wings to come out and our drinks not arriving at the same time either. Eventually just prior to the hour mark my partner went up to ask about the food of which they said it was coming out now. Came out 4 minutes later with my food no where to be seen. My partner ended up finishing their food so I went up to ask for a refund since I was still waiting on my food. Appreantly a regular occurrence as they were very quick to refund and didn't even ask any questions as to why. All this on top of our table not being clean and no water brought to our table and us having to go up and ask for that too!

We often go here to eat chicken. I'm very offended today so I'm leaving a review for the first time . I ordered chicken and chicken katsu, but the chicken in the chicken katsu was so burnt that I couldn't eat it, so I called the staff. I was going to eat it for my child, but it was too dark, so I asked for it to be made again, and the staff said that it would be the same even if I made it again, so I canceled the food. I ordered chips instead, but it didn't come out after a while, so when I asked again, it didn't seem like the order had even been placed. At least twice, if the customer seems to be disappointed, I'm sorry and I have to make food quickly, but the staff there don't seem to have received service training. I'm Korean too, so it's embarrassing that it's a Korean . I'm angry that the chips I ordered came out by accident, but I didn't even eat all of them because it seemed like they were all cut off. I don't usually want to write a review, but I hope the manager or owner sees this and educates me properly. restaurant. Anyway, I'm so disappointed that I don't want to...
