Aight, I ain't gonna lie, I didn't buy anything from them, I was just there cause Glen Library was full and there was no where to do my homework. But why the amazing positive review? The music. I'm out here tryna lock in and complete my English work (I'm getting nothing done), I take my headphones off and what do I hear? Hardstyle. This stuff hits different. In that moment it was like my testosterone levels doubled. My heart started pumping at 150 BMP, my focus sharpened, my pupils dilated, not even the Great Wall of China could stop me now. I was smashing through my paragraph. It was like Moses parting the Red Sea, but instead of water, it was my procrastination just splitting apart, clearing the way for pure, unstoppaple efficiency. This was my first time visiting this Gong Cha store, and the experience was honestly very disappointing. I ordered two milk teas with no sugar and a pearl egg waffle. After I paid, I noticed the staff had selected the original egg waffle instead. I politely told them I had asked for the pearl one and even offered to pay the difference, but the staff spent ages fiddling with the system and seemed completely confused. Eventually, the payment went through.

When we picked up our drinks and took a sip, the milk tea was extremely sweet. I checked the label and saw it was regular sugar. That really upset me because I had clearly asked for no sugar, and the staff were busy chatting and not paying attention during the whole ordering process. When I pointed it out, they just looked at each other and laughed—completely unprofessional.

The egg waffle was also very disappointing—not authentic, not fresh, and honestly just bad.

Ordered a couple drinks from the app and ask my friend to pick up due to I’m working. Then the female wearing a black specs told my friend that she couldn’t pick up the drink by just showing the screen shot of the pick up detail even tho there is pick up number and also details of what we ordered. I then have to go after work to pick up and that girl just told me that is their policy that they don’t accept to see a screenshot for picking up the order even tho we used to just showing them a screenshot when we have a big order by a multiple co-worker! What if that person who order is home then we have to go back home and come again? That’s very stupid. I asked to speak the boss or if I can have the email address to complaint about this issues, she then told me she is the store manager!
