Unfortunately the manger of shift today was god awfully rude to the employees, Iāll note itās Sunday, 25th of August.
My friend and I heard from a friend of ours to come eat here as Iāve travelled to Melbourne to live it up a little, but itās quite intense in here despite it being just us. The atmosphere is awkward and trying to eat feeling this way is upsetting. As customers Iād assume that we can eat and not have to see the manager dictating everyone around like itās a war zone. Just from the side lines itās almost the same as bullying in a school zone or a power trip of politics in the work place. Going to work should be fun and enjoyed, a place everyone can be happy and relaxed while servicing the customer.
Upon being asked how our food was the manger disrupted the staff member in front of us and ordered them to stop bothering us despite us wanting to talk about the food.
If I come to eat and am enjoying the food, is it not natural to speak with the people who prepared it and enjoy it with them all the same....

Last Friday, I called the restaurant to speak with a manager about a complaint, and the staff member who answered ā I believe her name was āAngeā or āAngieā ā was shockingly rude and unprofessional.
She spoke so fast I could barely understand her, and when I politely asked to speak with the manager, she raised her voice, repeatedly saying the manager was ābusy,ā and clearly had no interest in helping me.
Iāve never experienced such a rude phone interaction from any business before. Eventually, she took my number but no one ever called me back.
To make matters worse, Iāve also witnessed on several visits a blonde manager yelling at and belittling staff in front of customers, creating a really uncomfortable atmosphere. Itās something I and others in the community have noticed, and itās very disappointing to see.
While most of the staff here have always been kind and professional, āAngeā clearly should not be working in customer service given how disrespectful she was.
