Finally got to try the infamous Hannaâs Kebab! After they went viral a couple of months back there is always a huuuggee line. Reading the reviews of others waiting 2-3 hrs had us avoid this place until we saw only 4 people waiting with no line on a Sunday night at ~8:30pm.
Ordered: Mix Wrap $15.90 chips and drink combo deal $5.00
â„â„â„â„â„ 4.6/5 One of the better kebabs Iâve had. Quality tender marinated meat. Halal. The pickles gave the kebab a nice tanginess which was a nice break from the meat and sauce. The toasted crispy saj flatbread brought it to a new level.
Chips were nicely seasoned and crunchy. You also get a generous serving of garlic dip (Toum?).
GARLIC! Turn away if youâre not a garlic fan because you will definitely taste garlic the next day!!
Price: Pricey side. Decent serving.
Service: Slow and steady. Just because thereâs no line doesnât mean itâll be quick. Most people are seated waiting at the back away from the truck. We were first in line and waited about 10 mins before our order was taken, then another 20 mins for the food. You get a number to remember for your order. Make sure to keep your ears open because they call out your number if they need to ask a question. Theyâll also call you when your chips and drinks are ready, then youâll also have to wait another couple of mins for the kebab.
From observation, it seems orders are staggered into groups. Theyâll take orders to clear the line, then will make the food while another line forms again. They donât take new orders until the first group is completed. The meat looks to be the longest wait time as itâs only cooked on the vertical grill.
Sandra is absolutely lovely and attentive. Wasnât expecting this from such a busy spot!
Honestly surprised with the low reviews on google, especially about the longer wait times knowing full well about their sudden popularity. Go with an open mind and expect to wait.

Read moreUpdate October 2023 The lines have died down significantly now. I have been back a few times and I have been able to order straight away. The cooking wait time is still approximately 25-30mins from ordering. The HSP are also very good here. Lamb kebab is as good as when I first tried it đđđ
Lets start with the kebab. The saj bread and garlic sauce is what makes this special. The saj bread is similar to roti so it's crispy, flakey and has a bit of bite to it. The garlic sauce is like toum rather than the standard garlic aioli sauce at most kebabies. Unfortunately I didn't get a snap of the kebab as I was starving after lining up for 2.5 hours. The atmosphere here is a bit stressful and tense, especially when there is a line up. This is because there is no music playing to liven the area up and everyone is unsure if they will sell out or not. No real updates are provided until they are basically sold out, so you could potentially be lining up just to be turned away. Unfortunately, their process is what causes the long delays, even though they have about 4+ ppl working in the caravan. 4-5 orders are taken at a time, and once you have ordered, there is another 25+mins wait for the order to be ready.
It's a great kebab, but definitely not worth waiting over 2...
Read moreDO NOT GO THERE! They proceed to talk to their friends in Arabic, ignoring several customers who wish to order for longer than 5 minutes each time. It's as if you have to be VIP to order froM these people. Extremely rude. Then to pick up your order they yell out some random number... Which they forget to give to their customers hahaha, so people are all confused when to pick up their order... What a circus...I feel like this was a hidden camera show or something...surely this is not serious. How are these people still in business. Their kebabs are average, too. Don't know what Spanian saw in them... Guess because Sydney has terrible kebab standard, so he might not know how to judge. Then the young girl who randomly decides to go on her phonE and then talk to some friends, when there is a line of customers lookin in disbelief. And once she returns, you think she washes her hands from her phone before handling your food? Haha definitely not. Then when an order gets messed up, they yell at each other, making people uncomfortable ... Is this a social experiment to see how many people will still order after being treated with disrespect. There are 3 people in that food truck, yet they can't manage to get the basics right. And the worst us they are...
