Worse Hungry jacks I have been to. First time I ordered the spicy jacks burger (drive through) and they didn't put any sauce. It was dry and tasteless. Next time I ordered the same and reminded them to put sauce and the lady taking order was - oh! You want sauce on the burger? Am I asking something out of the bucket? When I was in the queue in the drive through, I heard the car behind us also reminded them to put sauce in the burger. Which makes sense that they franchise saves money on sauce. Ridiculous! So the second time after reminding them to put sauce, they put classic sauce and that too just 1-2 drop sizs and I ordered a spicy jack, they are supposed to put spicy sauce. Check the website for the recipe or train the staff. And that day, my husband also ordered along with me and he didn't reminded to put sauce as we assumed they are going to follow the recipe but they didn't put any sauce in his burger. How horrible and careless! They are not following the actual recipe. Plus the time when we ordered, special promotion was going on that we get free glass when we order a large meal. They didn't gave us until we asked for it. Who so ever is the owner of this franchise please change your staff or train them according to Hungry Jack standards or if you have trained them in such way then close this Hungry jacks branch and sell your style of burger we won't have any problem then as no one will come to your place then for a sauce...
Read moreFour out of four times now the food has been TERRIBLE. No quality control standards and they cut every corner to save money. Inside of restaurant is usually covered in empty food containers and the toilets remind me of my last trip to India because they don't have enough staff. There is always something wrong with the food like being burnt or cold or incredibly both.
Last time I went for breakfast and got a ham and cheese toastie in pieces that looked like the crew had dropped and trodden on it or more likely as it was covered in black soot had to be scrapped off a poorly maintained and cleaned grill.
Stupidly I gave them one last chance today and ordered a Chicago Angus burger meal. The Angus patty had obviously been sitting in a warmer for hours as the surface was black and burnt but its interior was dried out and nearly stone cold and there appeared to be no peppercorn sauce so all you could taste was cold burnt meat. They also aren't maintaining their drink dispensers as today and several times before my Coke was utterly flat and had obviously not been injected with CO2. They also didn't include any napkins. The fries however weren't bad although only filled up to halfway in the container. This place is always empty and obviously dying which is why the owners cut every corner possible to save...
Read moreThe Hungry Jack's branch in Altona North offers a decent fast-food experience with a few ups and downs. Situated conveniently near a shopping area, it’s a popular choice for locals seeking a quick bite.
Service is typically prompt, with staff being polite, though during peak times, there can be a bit of a wait. The drive-thru is a hit-or-miss, sometimes quick but occasionally slow during busy periods. The staff, however, remain friendly and try their best to handle the rush.
The food quality is as expected from Hungry Jack's, with their signature Whopper being a standout. The burgers are generally fresh, the fries hot and crispy, and they offer a good range of meal deals. However, on a few occasions, there may be slight inconsistencies in food preparation, like overcooked or under-seasoned items.
The restaurant is clean, though the seating area can become crowded during weekends, and occasionally, tables might need more frequent cleaning. The location offers ample parking, which is a plus compared to some other branches.
Overall, Hungry Jack's Altona North delivers a satisfactory fast-food experience with friendly service, though there’s room for improvement, particularly in wait times and food...
