29/08 - ordered via app, gave a few minutes notice of when i was nearby, immediately was asked to pull through to waiting bay. I looked behind me and said that I really don't understand why because there is no one ordering behind me so, to which I was told they have timers and just doing what they are told. I responded with look im sorry I get that your HO or whatever ask you to do this but it's going to take you longer to actually complete my order if you have to stop what you ar edging and bring it out and im going to wait where I was thanks. We could have left it at that but when she brought my order she goes, very rudely, "I don't see why it was so hard for you to move your car", OKAY then, no need for the attitude? It takes longer to complete an order, linger for customer to wait and longer for employee to spend on it. If I am waiting for an order, why is it so unreasonable for the timer to continue why I am waiting? If they do this every time and the data reported is that the drivethroughs are super fast, then nothing will.ever improve because the data is incorrect. I have been there before when there were people behind me, I do pull forward in those cases because the person behind me may have ordered just a cold drink that would be much faster and its not fair to make them wait, but it ended up they just asked everyone to pull trhough and wait and ended up blocking the exit so no one could leave even if they did get their order, and the employees coming out to give orders to wrong cars. I had it happen once where I was given a bag, not told what the order I was being given was at all, and I questioned oh but I ordered a drink? I rudely got an EYE ROLL and a sigh along with "what drink?" And when I told her she grabbed the bag from me to try give it to a different car. No apology, and also, how is that my fault? You guys made 4 cars pull forward to wait places and you don't know who ordered what, like I didn't create the problem. I have given them some chances but it just seems the running of this venue is solely focussed on keeping the drive through timer as low as possible through any means asides from just working through the orders efficiently, and it seems like most of the staff have attitude problems. I get it if you are forced to do things inefficiently and stupidly, but that isn't the customers fault. "Older review" What is the point of ordering on the app if you just immediately ask us all to oull through to waiting bays? Also why ask more cars to pull through to wait than you have waiting bays for? I clicked that I was nearby for my order at 10:42, I arrived and was asked to go through to waiting bay at 10:46am. Person who placed orders about 10 seconds before me got their order first, and the person who ordered after me also got their order before. You should get rid...
Read moreI’m not one to write reviews but today’s service was outrageous. We arrived at the drive through around 5:10pm when it wasn’t busy, and ordered. We were directed to park in the waiting bay, and we happily did. As time went by more cars arrived and they were all leaving before us. We continued waiting. After 20 minutes, we asked about our order in the parking and a girl said she would get back to us, but she never came. We asked another girl and she said the same, and no one came back to us . After another 15 minutes of waiting, I went inside to ask, turns out our order was beeped as completed. I was very polite to the manager as I understand mistakes happen, but when told him, there was no empathy, no apology, nothing, he just said “okay” and turned his back on me to get our order. There was no compassion whatsoever, and we came home to a bag of cold food an hour later.
Overall, not a pleasant experience at all, the least that customer service workers can do is show that they care, especially when they are in the wrong. Better communication is...
Read moreWent to Hungry Jacks Knox City twice for a snack and dinner meal.
Location is inside the Knox City complex so you must go through the parking cameras entrance, plenty of free parking once in.
The first visit we went inside and sat down. Was loud and service took longer than expected, a lot of school kids. The chicken tenders were overcooked and not nice, cheeseburger and chips were alright and standard for HJ.
Second visit was a drive thru meal. Was told to park on the parking bay for our order even though we ordered in advance on the app. The wait was about 15 minutes which is ridiculous, was about 10 other cars out there too, all trying to squeeze into their loading bay. Ordered a Jacks Fried Chicken Burger with extra patty and some whopper jrs. JFC burger tasted alright despite its terrifying construction. Chips were well seasoned. Whopper jrs standard.
Would go back to this HJ if in the area and wanted it. The main bad thing are the huge wait times, order...
