I recently placed an order from Hungry Jack's Chadstone through Menulog's delivery service, and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. I ordered my food at 12:37 PM with the expectation of receiving a timely delivery to my location. However, things quickly went downhill from there.
At 1:30 PM, well past the promised delivery time, I decided to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about the status of my order. To my dismay, they informed me that they had not received the order at all and suggested that I reach out to Menulog for clarification. It's concerning that such a miscommunication could occur between the restaurant and the delivery platform.
I followed their advice and contacted Menulog's customer service for assistance. To my frustration, they informed me that they had found a delivery driver for my order and estimated a delivery time of 2:41 PM. That meant I would be waiting for a total of two hours past the expected delivery time, which is simply unacceptable.
Seeking further clarification, I called the restaurant again to confirm whether they had indeed received the order. Unfortunately, they reiterated that they still had not received it, leaving me puzzled and infuriated. The whole purpose of ordering from a website is to receive quick and efficient delivery, but it seems that both Hungry Jack's Chadstone and Menulog failed miserably in this regard.
This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and frustrated as a customer. I expected better communication and service from both the restaurant and the delivery platform. It's disheartening to see such a lack of coordination and efficiency, resulting in wasted time and a hungry customer.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise against ordering from Hungry Jack's Chadstone through Menulog's delivery service. It's evident that there are significant issues with their processes, leading to an unreliable and unsatisfactory experience. Save yourself the disappointment and choose an alternative option for your food...
Read moreMANAGER HUMILIATES CUSTOMER BY CALLING SECURITY Definitely the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. I ordered an orange and mango frozen drink for $3.95 which was advertised on the app and in store. The manager advised that it was no longer sold in Australia. If this was true that would amount to misleading advertising. I know this was not true as I seen it at Hungry Jacks Spencer St the night before. I then asked to be refunded. Instead he only offered me a cheaper frozen drink for the same price f $3.95 which I didn’t believe was fair. The manager advised the only way to get a refund as I ordered through the app was to call the Hungry Jacks hotline. I knew he was lying to me as the staff at Spencer St were able to provide a refund to my credit card when I ordered through the app and the item wasn’t available the night before.
I advised the manager that this was not true, as Spencer St provided the refund straight away, and I felt like he was stealing my money, as he wouldn’t refund me (Calling a Hungry Jacks hotline wouldn’t guarantee me a refund). This is the moment that he proceeded to call Security. The Chadstone shopping centre security themselves appeared to be fed up with the manager, advising they were busy dealing with actual problems. This is the point where 2 security guards even asked the manager to refund me and he refused. To settle the matter I offered to buy something of a higher value and pay the difference to which the manager with hesitation finally agreed. I ordered a storm ice cream, paying an extra dollar and received a half filled ice cream. Definitely avoid this Hungry Jacks at...
Read moreToday I stood first in line at approx 11:30am to order a small chips and waited about 10mins. The customer service was absolutely unacceptable. The two girls on the front register were totally incapable of being happy and getting the job done. One girl wasn't wearing a name tag she was so miserable constantly looking at the time walking back and forth like a sloth bowing her head down and pretending as if there were no customers waiting to order. Other customers were still waiting for their food after their order and hadn't recieved drinks or parts of their orders correctly. I could hear the people in the line behind me getting frustrated. One ever asked 'what is wrong with them?' A girl spilt one of the drinks a customer was waiting on so they had to wait again and it took the two of them about 5minutes to clean with napkins.. One manager walked out, grabbed a slushie and walked straight back into the office like she didn't care. I have never EVER in my life had such an appalling visit to a fast food facilitie. Not to mention the day before they were taking cash only because their eftpos was down and they day BEFORE that their slushie machines weren't working. Hungry jack's really need to have a good look into their roster and hire more...
