This is directly to the CHADSTONE shop. Directly about the 'Assistant manager' there by the name RYAN J. MOWAT or RYAN J. DE MONTEALTO.This hasn't just happened once but it has been a few occasions to the point he has picked on my nerves. One of the latest occasion my father and my brothers ordered coffee there. My dad was sitting on one of the tables waiting for my brothers to bring the coffee out.This so called manager comes and asks my dad what are you doing here? My father replies I am waiting for my sons to get the coffee orders. Then he further interrogates my dad as if he was an idiot and says prove where are your sons? my brothers come back and he walks away as if nothing happened. not even apologetic. How low and such rude of a personality can you be. Then another coworker tried to back him up and said to my dad as he saw my dad was getting aggravated by Ryan 'my manager was only asking if you needed water' what an idiot, my dad wouldn't be even close to mad if he was only been asked if he wanted water. There were other white families sitting amongst with their takeaway coffees so why couldn't we?( we're asians) Maybe you need to train your staff particularly the assistant manager on the matter of cultural diversity?and not to be so racist. Read moreI always go here, and love the takeaway coffee and beans. However, today I had decided that we should dine in and enjoy some of their food. It was quite busy today however not overly busy. We managed to get a seat inside. Coffees came on time and was great as usual. Never in a long time have I ever waited 50 minutes to receive my food which was just a simple burger and fries. Even after politely asking the lady about the progression of my food, she never came back to me with a response and I still waiting 20 minutes after asking her. It was horrible service, I could even see the kitchen staff wiping tables down and having a small chat which is totally fine. But maybe it’s not as appropriate when you have customers who have been waiting over 30 minutes. I believe my order may have not even been taken as this will be the only explanation to this. I never write reviews about anything but I was so fustrated in the shop and didn’t want to cause a scene as I gave them the benifit of the doubt, but this was just unacceptable. In future if they are busy a heads up would have been great, it’s as simple as mentioning that there may be a long wait on food, if that is the case I would have just taken my coffee and gone elsewhere. Read moreI came in to buy a coffee for my mother and were a long time regular and it was her special day and it was ruined today because one female worker their kept passing through where we were sitting and knocked my mothers shoulder and bags accidentally and didn't turn around to apologize about that and she was too rushy and we told the other female worker with blonde hair and she looked at us in a funny way to say she can walk through their and shes just doing her job and shrugged her shoulders and went to the back probably to Gossip about it but God sees everything and knows the best and then the young guy came to us to ask what the issue was and to assist and i explained it and he said he will pass it to the manager but i didn't see any manager their and didn't have hope in our feedback being passed on nor did i know if he was the manager but he should of spoken to them to be honest because Customers concerns are the top priority in my opinion and then i paid for the coffee and we left, overall this was a very poor service we had in this Cafe and we were coming their for many years and now it seems the workers only care about rushing to orders instead of customers concerns and we won't be coming here anymore unfortunately due to this very poor service other than the coffee which was the only best thing.
