Jaspers Pizza and Pasta — Restaurant in Melbourne

my family doesn’t eat a lot of pizza, but when we do we always get it from jasper’s, and so do all my friends in the area as well. that should be enough to indicate that jasper’s is well beloved by families all in the area, and for good reason. their pizza is delicious, and my grandpa (and i) love the garlic bread to ridiculous amounts, he refuses to eat it from anywhere else. the delivery is quick and friendly, and what you would expect from a restaurant that makes their pizza homemade and fresh. the staff are all lovely and so is the manager, and i have had many pleasant conversations, and it’s always better to support local family buisness' rather than the subpar pizza hut down the road. all in all, good food, good people, good delivery. always reliable and always provide what they should. i

We dined in 6 weeks ago(limited seating as its mainly takeaway. Pizza & pasta ordered & both were nicely presented & tasted pretty good. Over the last couple of weeks we have ordered delivery service, the pizza was ordinary, pasta was ok, We decided to try their gluten free pizza and it was inedible, soggy crust, ingredients not cooked enough. Probably the worst pizza I've ever tried. They put too much shredded ham on the pizza, not much other ingredients. The pasta is pretty good most of the time, if i ever go back it will only be for the pasta, dining in only. Order 2 family pizzas which should cost $40. But to make it easier I asked for 2 margaritas but 1 to have a few extra vegetables. I could have ordered the lot and just taken away most of the ingredients which would if cost $40 instead by adding 3 things they increased the price by $5.50. Completely ridiculous The owner refused to correct the price and just simply argued with me, saying that’s how his computer works.
