EDIT:
In response to your reply.
Firstly, I have no idea who these harassing messages you speak of are from as they definitely did not come from anyone I know. I think you have your wires crossed as these messages must be from another customer who you have confused with me. This is definitely nothing at all to do with me nor would I ever encourage or condone such behaviour. Please get your story straight.
I tried to contact you privately at first to avoid a public post but was dismissed as a liar. I would have appreciated some sort of acknowledgment from you - it’s really that simple. I never once asked you for a refund or anything of the sort.
Secondly and finally , I have no reason to and nothing to gain whatsoever by making a big deal out of this. Obviously my preference would have been that my Dad received something for Father’s Day that was a positive experience. I don’t think anyone would just decide to complain about something if there was no reason to and they were satisfied. I can assure you that the photo I have posted is 100% how the box arrived so please understand my disappointment. My parents are in their 70’s and the last thing on their minds would be to sabotage a gift that their daughter has bought for them. I had very high expectations when I ordered this box and although it didn’t turn out as I had thought, at the very least I expected a sincere response to my complaint and good customer service.
I ordered a High Tea box for home delivery for my Dad for Father's Day and was incredibly disappointed. The box arrived much later than I was told it would and I was not even given the courtesy of being notified of the delay. Presentation of the High Tea box was not like it appears on Instagram or the website. Items were missing and the box looked very slap dash. I wouldn’t be surprised if my order had been forgotten hence the late delivery and sloppy presentation. In this instance it was definitely a case of Instagram vs Reality. Sandwich bread was stale and lemon curd tarts had an overwhelming taste/ smell of egg. I contacted the owner to express my disappointment and the response I received was defensive and non apologetic. I then responded with further concerns and have not heard back since. The box was missing items such as the macarons and one strawberry had been thrown in. I asked the owner why my box didn’t include flowers given all the Instagram posts and website show that flowers are part of the decoration and I was told that flowers were purely used for the photos. Funny that in the last review written by a customer, his box included not only the flowers but extra strawberries and popcorn as these fillers definitely change the overall look of the box. Terrible business ethic and customer service. Such a waste of money. I have never written a google review before but given the service I have received I decided that this would...
Read moreThis is such a cute cafe – located on a bustling intersection in Albert Park there is loads of street parking, plus the tram stops right out the front. The front does look like a fairytale house – a converted garage with comfy seating and beautiful big balloon lamps, some communal tables out on the street under the shade of big shaded trees; a cosy nook right outside the front door where you can enjoy coffee and cake on fluffy rugs.
The inside is broken up in to different rooms which creates an intimate feeling plus provides a great space for working on laptops while you enjoy the yummy food.
They have a cute menu of fairytale themed lunch and breakfast dishes plus some specials and pre-made items. The coffee is really good, plus they do a range coffee and milk alternatives, super shakes, smoothies, and they’ve just added smoothie bowls to the menu. Pretty much everything can be adapted to give a veg or vegan options and they also have a kids menu.
They make all their own baked goods on site and the cabinet of pre-made sandwiches, quiches, slices, cakes and cookies looks SUPER inviting! The smells of fresh baking filled the air and drove me crazy while we waited for our brunch.
We had the Doc – Sauteed mushrooms with sage, thyme and goats cheese on sourdough+ a poachie; Grumpy – baked eggs in our secret spicy tomato sauce with chilli popcorn, goats cheese and sourdough + chorizo; and Dopey – apple and rhubarb crumble hotcakes with spiced apples, marscapone and snows crumble 19.5
All the meals came out quickly and were generous sized. The ingredients all tasted fresh and of good quality and most things are made in house.
Snow White supply their baked morsels to cafes around Melbourne, plus they can make you a bespoke Birthday cake and arrange catering for offices or events – they can do pretty much anything really! The staff are all really lovely and look like they all really enjoy working here. We’re looking forward to coming back to try more of those delicious dishes. Thanks...
Read moreI’ll take any excuse to return to Albert Park and this spot is one of the region’s very best! Not only are the staff so, so accommodating and friendly, the food is absolutely authentic, fresh and beautiful! They make so many gorgeous homemade products here from bread to sweet treats, it really is the most ideal local café.
I visited here with my friend for Saturday lunch, and ironically, we both wound up ordering the same thing -- a new addition to the Winter Menu at Snow White, the porridge. We added peanut butter to the dish, and also both enjoyed a Nana Bing smoothie (with almond milk as we’re both vegan).
This café caters to vegans super well, and the food is always delicious! Every time they change their menu, it’s a reason to return and I’m always super impressed. The porridge was flavoursome and soul-warming! The smoothie, chocolatey and satisfying!
A lovely spot that I’ll be back to over and over again! Couldn’t fault a thing. P.S. it’s a warm day, I’d definitely sit outside! It’s lovely to watch passersby, to be surrounded by the trees and the hustle and bustle...
