Jeremy's Ocean Boat Fish N Chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

Worst fish and chips I've ever had! Forgot multiple things from my order that I paid for. Literally everything (calamari, chips, crab sticks, potato cakes) somehow all tasted the same.. like stale, wet cardboard. I specifically asked for the chips to be extra crispy and they were SOOO soggy!!! The only thing actually edible for our family of 4 was the flake. And even that wasn't great in the slightest & didn't get finished by anyone. Not to mention the boy that served us had 0 customer service skills. Not a 'hi how are you?' or even a smile!!! I only came here because my regular was closed being good friday and we will definitely not...

I really don't like putting down a local business but me and my family had a really disappointing lunch from Burnside Fish and Chips today. We've had fish and chips from this place numerous times and it's always been fresh, tasty and delicious. Today the potato cakes were overcooked, almost like they had been reheated in the fryer, making them extremely oily. The fish was okay but didn't taste very fresh. The batter was stale and leathery, not all all crispy and crunchy like it usually is. Feeling a bit disappointed and this has always been our favourite go to fish...

We (partner and I) always order the lunch deal which includes chips, fish and a can of your choice. It has always been very good (visited 5-6 times). Prices are reasonable and service is nice :)

The fish is crispy (most of the time) with a lovely, not very greasy, inside. The chips are delicious and always taste freshly fried.

My partner absolutely loves fish and chips and this is his favourite so far. Service is lovely, food tastes fresh and delicious and this is our current go to fish and chip shop.
