I almost never write a bad review but I just couldn't ignore this one, I honestly write this not to be mean but as a constructive criticism.
My husband and I went for a Sunday lunch (the first time for us) and both choose the HARISSA PLATE (as shown on the menu) Falafel, our famous house-made spicy harissa, pickled purple and white cabbage, tomato and cucumber Israeli salad, served on a bed of hummus. Topped with pickles and tahini.
I asked for mine to be in a take away because I wasn't super hungry but I didn't want to miss out. I clearly stated that I cannot have fresh onion as I'm a fructose intolerant. We received our plates just to find I had a ton of onion on it regardless to my request (you guys should really pay attention when it comes to allergies!). I didn't get harissa on mine though both ordered the same, the cabbage on both plates was not pickled, the Israeli salad was a Greek salad (Israeli salad is chopped to tiny little cubes and has herbs and mint in it this was cut into half rounds like greek salad just without the feta and olives) Your hummus by far was the blandest hummus Iv'e ever had! And, to top it up they put Amba on my hummus (a sauce made of mango which it's smell is so insulting it took me a whole day to get it off my hands) it without asking me if I want any (you shouldn't just serve it to everyone without asking!) the staff was far from interested in you! They didn't even asked if we been here before and if we know we need to help ourselves with cutlery and water etc (we never been there before I think it could have been nice to ask if we know where it is or instruct us to go get some) and when I was asking for some salt (as I was trying to make it bearable) I have been told "We put salt on the falafel" (but there is a reason I was asking for salt! you should have some on the tables) I had to ask twice if I can still get some, felt like I need to bag for it!
The only positive I have to say is that everything was fresh and the texture of the falafel was really good. The baclava was lovely (though you obviously don't make it yourselves).
It is shameful that an experience we were so much looking for (and planned two days ahead) turned out that way I wish this could be a 5 star...

REVIEW: Just Falafs has a cosy interior, fitted with high ceilings and instagram friendly plant aesthetics. There's limited seating inside, but everyone seems to take away anyway. So you have a good chance of nabbing a seat regardless!
The haloumi was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. The pita is generously stacked, where I had to take some of the haloumi in order to fit my mouth around it. That also meant I got some haloumi to munch on the side! I'm always scared ordering a falafel because I've had some awfully dry ones. However don't fear! Just Falafs have them MOIST and flavourful. Definitely would recommend Just Falafs if you have a hankering for a...
Read moreI had such high hopes! This was our first time going to Just Falafs. We both ordered the halloumi pita ($18.50) and a side of chips ($5). Considering the price of the halloumi pita, we expected more than just 2 pieces of halloumi so that was disappointing. The falafels were also pretty oily and lacked salt, otherwise they were delicious. Although, the cauliflower and hommus were delicious. The pita overall was yummy but could’ve been better. The chips were so disappointing! 🍟 The salt was non existent and they could’ve been cooked for longer. There’s a lack of seating here, only 2 benches outside which is a bit of a pain. Probably wouldn’t recommend this place on a freezing winter night for this reason. Also there is no plain water available here, only sparkling water which is odd. Sadly I don’t think we will return here...
