KFC Carlton — Restaurant in Melbourne

This KFC store has been a bit better then the ones I have been do far in Melbourne. We ordered zinger burger box and popcorn chicken slab. We requested for fresh ones. Only the chips and chick wings were fresh and wasn't too bad. Burger was just average. Old bread and lettus with long cooked patty which must have been sitting there for a while. Understandable it's a fast food but I had better KFC in other countries where you get everything fresh and quick.

Overall, not bad compared to other KFC in Melbourne.

Went to this Carlton one thinking won’t be busy. When we went there it actually wasn’t really busy and it’s quite small. Ordered our meal and requested for everything fresh( which I think it’s fair to ask when it’s not busy and when they are willing to make it fresh). Was told 20 minutes wait for it and we happily waited, until we got our meal. Opened up and found only the extra hot and crunchy and fries were fresh. Rest of the meal disappointingly soggy and salty. It just looked like they reheated or threw the old ones back in oil and heated up.

Man could have been honest if you can’t make new ones when we ordered, rather than wasting our time and dinner.

I have been a long time customer at this KFC and always been pretty happy but after repeatedly ordering zinger boxes at all the KFC restaurants that I go to, all of a sudden this particular store along with a couple of others apparently don't serve the same food... this is misleading and as far as I am concerned false advertising as Google images put up by KFC staff show the food I would expect to get when I pay for it... instead of receiving potato & gravy, you will just receive gravy, which isn't even gravy at all, it's a disgusting powdered imitation of gravy, it literally tastes like liquid cardboard. After looking over my receipts there is no mention of this at all, I find this to be extremely weird as I paid the same price for entire meal as I did this one with missing ingredients... also the chicken tasted like dirty oil. I spoke to a manager who didn't care at all about what I had to say. I would not recommend this store and I will never return. I am very disappointed, this place has lost a...

Fantastic at peak times, awful any other time.

Having ordered some great KFC here, I am sorry to a very bad review after my recent experience here.

I arrived at 10:30pm and ordered a big meal - 15 pieces hot and spicy.

Chips were good, chicken and nuggets were horrid.

Nuggets were undercooked, chicken tasted like lukewarm cardboard - and I was stuck with 15 pieces of the stuff…

I would rather be told that you are out of chicken than be served the pits.

I know I went off peak, but this chicken should have been tossed out long ago.

Next time I order chicken, I will explicitly ask for it be cooked fresh and I will assert that I am happy to...
