Kong Chinese Bistro — Restaurant in Melbourne

Kong's in Roxburgh Park is our go to restaurant for Chinese food. We absolutely love their food. They don't use MSG, which is an excellent thing, as I'm allergic to MSG. The food is fresh and tasty, just perfect. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The older gentleman always opens the door for us when he's there. There's 3 of us, and we each order a dish, then with some Special Fried Rice, Singapore Noodles, and of course the Prawn Crackers, we usually have enough left over for another meal the following day.

I highly recommend Kong's in Roxburgh Park to anyone in the area, and surrounding areas, or even to anyone passing through the area, and looking for an awesome meal. They are the best around, and I would gladly travel to the opposite side of Melbourne for their food, if of course we were that far away, thankfully we're in Craigieburn. The food is inedible. Going to the Kong bistro joints throughout Hume for 10 years i have never had such a bad meal. We ordered the fried rice and asked to make it hot as we always say that to all of the Kong Bistro we have gone to. In all of the other places like Greenvale and Cragieburn the food tastes amazing but is was utter garbage. The food was so hot that our family couldn't even eat it as it brought tears to our eyes(but not in a good way). And after complaining the chef said that it was our fault and not his. Literally unable to be eaten, the food tastes disgusting and in the end we couldn't even receive a refund. Worst Kong bistro in the region, don't recommend...

Gone down hill had this last night combination fried rice was bland $20 for rice come on seriously.. black bean was ok barely and meat tho all veg n sauce.. sweet n sour pork was disgusting pork was like rubber and barely any sauce and again 80% veg 20% meat.. dim sims were nice but they where very small.. spring rolls were time like cocktail ones $3 all pastry barely any filling in them.. lost a regular been putrid for a while now.. avoid like the plague.. $98 for 2 mains 2 fried rice 2 spring rolls 2 dim sims.. what a joke seriously and we all know Chinese restaurants source thier meat n veg...
