11/10!⭐️ Enjoyed a mid-week, post-work, early evening dinner, caching-up with family. Been coming here, sporadically, for as long as I can remember (reckon I first dined here around 12 years of age after the cinemas one day... I am now 28... If it ain't broke, why fix it.' Obviously doing things right 16 years on). The same lovely owners, the most friendly people. All the staff are amazing, particular praise to the senior one on Wednesday at 5pm opening who also said jokingly "I've worked here long enough to try everything on the menu". She made the night. Down to earth, engaging, attentive and most of all just going that extra distance beyond employment to the customer banter and laughs, which goes a long way. Delicious, authentic pizza and their home-made signature Tiramisu for dessert (the owner's 25 year recipe!!) is a MUST-have. If I could give 101 stars out of 100... I would. Restaurant is beautifully clean, instant service, fast cooking and what you want from a good pizza place, whether you're in a rush or in for a good evening, also a convenient location and a massive restaurant. There is a reason this La Porchetta has been around for decades, gets top reviews and is loved. Bravo guys, a review like this is the least you deserve. Fantastico,...
Read moreWent there for a family dinner last week. The atmosphere in the place was lovely but the service was not good. I know that tgey are fairly newly opened but the waitress we had was rushing around so much she mucked up our drinks order. We asked for a shared platter 1st while waiting for a medium/well done steak to be cooked. Got the platter and then about 2 minutes later got the mains including the steak. She said she asked if we wanted it all together but had hear us discussing having the sharing plate 1st. She asked if the children wanted icecream with their chocolate mouuses and we were than told by another waitress that she had made (yet another) mistake. When I went to pay there was some one there fussing over a take away order at the only till open and had to wait over 5 minures before I was able to pay. Felt like walking out. Food was good but the servise we...
Read moreCame to have dinner with my family. Brother ordered the chicken Parma I ordered nonnas meatballs pasta Mum had a pizza Niece had carbonara Bruschetta and garlic cheese pizza was good
My brothers chips were fluro yellow and tasted weird
My nieces carbonara was dry and unseasoned
“ nonnas meatballs “ all nonnas should take offence. It was absolutely disgusting. I took 3 bites and felt like i was going to throw up. The meatballs were mushy and bland. The pasta sauce was extremely watery and the pasta texture was as if it were microwaved.
Sent nonnas meatballs back - it was inedible.
When I told the waitress she was rude and gas lit me. Said “ it’s how they’ve always been “ it honestly tasted like it was a year old n warmed in the microwave from frozen
Total waste of money. Avoid the place at all costs. Best part of the meal was...
