For a place called Cornutopia, you'd expect the corn chips to be something better than the bottom of a bag of Doritos- nope. 6 bucks for a small box filled with the same stuff you buy at Woolies, only thrown in a box to slosh it around and bit and served cold.
The saddest quesadillas I've experienced. Being able to do simple foods well is a great way to endear yourself to your customer, but this was the kinda thing you'd throw together with bits and pieces from your fridge at 2am after a night out.
We paid extra for cheese on our burritos, but I wouldn't bother wasting your money- these guys don't read their orders properly or else don't care what their customers ask for, we didn't get it.
The two cookies (an apology?) were included free and were just about the only thing that seemed even close to handmade or authentic.
2 stars cause hey we were hungry and still ate it but it's the kind of meal you'd be disappointed in yourself for producing, certainly not something you'd serve guests and absolutely not the level of quality you'd expect from a restaurant or a...
Read moreI’m not sure why this place has such high ratings. I got the burrito combo. I’d like to think the owners don’t really know what Mexican food tastes like or atleast what Mexican food in australia tastes like.
The burrito was extremely bland with the chicken dry and almost burnt on the grill.
If you decide to not heed the advice of multiple reviewers and still end up eating here, have a taste of the ‘guac’. That’s supermarket, mass produced, commercially available avocado. You’d be able to figure that out with the creamy texture of it but it also tastes terrible.
The corn chips are run of the mill cheap bulk buy bags that are salty and remind you of buying home brand corn chips when you should’ve gone for the more ‘authentic’ Mission corn chips option.
The ‘salsa’ is glorified tomato sauce with a hint of stale spices.
The only respite was the Guava Jarrito I consumed that made me believe I did indeed have a ‘Mexican’ meal.
If you’ve gotten this far, please avoid it unless the apocalypse is upon us and all other food stores have...
Read moreYou’ve asked for details on my review. I have given you 1 star because when I ordered something from you on Uber eats, you gave the driver the wrong order. When he came to deliver the order, I informed him it was not mine. He took the wrong food away, but informed me he could not go back and pick up my correct order, and that I needed to contact you to sort it out. When I called, nobody really wanted to help. I was told you could remake the food, but that I would have to come and pick it myself…..what’s the point of ordering delivery? Without a car it would have taken me 45 minutes to walk to your food truck in the cold and dark. I also made a complaint to Uber about the driver, because I recognise that he also should have checked more thoroughly what order he had picked up. I eventually received a partial refund that took days to come through. The whole experience was...
