I've been to all the cafes in Carlton and by far, this place is my favourite. I love coming here in between classes to have some care-free moments during the day while enjoying warm natural sunlight coming through its big windows. Such a peaceful soothing ambience :) Not to mention, I adore their beautiful vintage interiors and friendly service! . I usually grab coffee here but finally decided to try their lunch menu - "Mushroom Veggie Bowl" ($9.5). It was simple but absolutely delicious - clearly made with fresh ingredients. I liked how it was kept light without adding any overpowering seasoning. I'd love to try other brunch menus next time. . I kind of don't want this cafe to get any popular than it already is since I want it kept as my secrete haven LOL. Regardless, this venue is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area hoping to escape from your busy life. Too bad they don't open on Sundays - I'd love to sit there for hours...

Coffee was pretty good, maybe a bit too milky. Next time I'd...
