Some of the crew that accompanied us to The Clyde told of tales of their time at Uni coming here and having memorable nights. Tonight ours was no exception. As a group of work colleagues, we came here for a post-training dinner and frankly, it was the ideal spot. Firstly, our table has this clever sign on it - where although table was reserved for 6.30pm, patrons are invited to use it until then. Clever. Menu was extensive and there is something for everyone including anyone with special dietary requirements. Vegetarians particularly have a good range to choose from. We ordered our meals and most people chose the variations of parmigiana. I had two entrees of Gyoza and a large serve of zucchini and eggplant chips. Everyone raved about their food and certainly the portion sizes were generous. But what really stood out for us was Matt, an employee who went above and beyond to accommodate one of us who had allergies and the meal she ordered was mixed up. His apologies, preparing a new meal, shouted her a beer for the inconvenience and overall attentiveness is rare these days but certainly didn’t go unnoticed by 14 of us. Everyone looked to me as a professional reviewer and nodded their approval. The Clyde has a few spaces where you can meet up that are separate from each other - whether it’s the main bar, the cute beer garden where we’d sat the night before for a quick coldie, the dining areas or even the roof top garden. The walls are covered in memorabilia, there are a few tv screens televising sport or other events. Staff are exceptional even when ‘under the pump’ at peak hour. Decor is interesting with fun ‘day of the dead’ artwork on the toilet doors. But it is pre Christmas so lots of decorations. Notes: wheelchair friendly, disabled accessible, kid friendly, high chairs available, parking is reasonable in and around the area.

I’d never thought I’d leave a pub pondering carpets, but here we are. The ones at this place weren’t just floor coverings – they were quiet philosophers underfoot. Every step across them felt like walking on history, on spilled laughter, on a thousand untold conversations absorbed into their fibers. The colours and patterns swirled like a tapestry of memory, reminding me that even the most ordinary things – a pint glass, a barstool, or in this case, a carpet – can carry meaning if you stop to notice. These carpets didn’t shout for attention; they simply were, anchoring the room with a sense of belonging, like roots in a forest you don’t see but always feel. In a world obsessed with shiny surfaces and quick renovations, there was something profoundly comforting in their persistence. A pint tastes better, I think, when it rests above a carpet that has already witnessed centuries of pints before it. So yes, the pub was great. But the carpets? They were a reminder that sometimes, the foundation beneath our feet speaks louder than the noise around us. But that’s not all, to tie it all together, they even had a framed carpet on the sacred walls. A truly iconic part of Australia’s history and a must visit.

Absolutely brilliant place! We arranged for a family event to be held here and the staff were nothing short of excellent. Ross, if you're reading this, just know that I really appreciated you making our day stress-free and enjoyable. The food was really nice as well! Everything I saw people order looked yummy, and the Atlantic Salmon I had was perfect. Next time we're in Melbourne, we'll be back. 501/10 for an enjoyable day, making it easy to catch up with family and friends and great eats and drinks. Thank you 😺

This is page 2 Sister and brothers to solve the family violence. we're to understand each other to look at why they are becoming violent . when you guys understand it you guys will solve it patiently. first we have to be in the cool mood. because the problem came from them , not us. so don't let them bring the problem to us. we have to think about it first before we've done it. stop this and it will be fine for us. when we have a wife and when we separate the law the said we have to share the property. and because of this they bring violence. because of this they bring more violence. they cause more children problems. to solve this violence we have to stop this law to make our family and the children to be safe. the children can cost a family more problems. children grow up and dont have an address to move into which causes more problems. first you have to protect your life and second is to protect your property. we have to respect to solve the problem and to give him rights about children. women have rights to decide to have many children or not. the parent has a right to stop child support. the woman should let him meet her children. Protect them from human rights not you to use your rights. They have rights to go overseas They human community 14 years. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Government have to stop volunteer jobs to give people jobs Teenager refused to give them rights. it causes them many problems. they have tl be independent to decide themselves. at this age they should be tought on what they want to do. they have more ambitions than older people. They are new to the world and need to experience what makes them happy. In a lot of countries they are treated poorly and aren't given jobs. having something to do is very important to them. When they have a job, it is also educating them and gives them more responsibility. in some countries the training is too long and they don't have time to enjoy themselves, causing mental illness problems. When they fonish training and they dont have a job, they start volunteering. this causes them to hate themselves. This causes some teenagers to go into crime. Volunteer jobs are good to give to young people to learn responsibility and have something to do. if some of these teenagers fall into bad activities or behaviors, thwy are not necessarily to blame. the blame should be put upon people in power. brothers and sisters, everyone in the world needs responsibility. Think about being on the pension. you arent happy because you can't enjoy the stuff you once enjoyed. Now think about teenagers who face them peoblems even though their bodies can allow them to do qhat they want to do. parents and government we need to let the teenagers to be free. im not writing wholw story, just a short story. if you want to discuss anything or have any questions contact me and we can discuss. ♥♥♥rights are...
