Lincoln Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I discovered this cafe a while ago. Every time I come here, the staff and owner are friendly, helpful, and put a lot of care into making my chicken and avocado rice paper roll and Bahn Mi. Their food is always fresh, good quality, and has a wide range of sweet selections, especially their Bahn Mi. You can choose from any meat to vegetarian salad rolls. They make good coffee too! The owner remembers my order and gives good service whenever I come in. The location is close to the uni and locals, with plenty of chairs and a table outside to have your breakfast and lunch. This cafe is clean and affordable. I highly recommend this place.

Salmonella from the pork rolls If I could give them no stars I would.

I myself at here last Tuesday and Wednesday I was violently ill for a week could not move from my bed doctor confirmed it was salmonella I am also 22 weeks pregnant how dangerous.

I know of 18 cases from our construction site and neighbouring sites who got sick from pork rolls from the days of Monday last week till Thursday meaning they were serving the same food all week.

They have closed and said it was due to covid-19! which is a lie the health department has been notified and stool samples provided to them as proof...

Sketchy practice by not admitting to food poisoning in the closure notice on 16 May 2020. I guess it had to be someone from outside who wrote it down by hand. They'll probably end up changing the name of the venue, it's staff and even the cuisine and type of food they serve, just to keep running with the same lack of safe food handling practices. Beware people....
