We celebrated Diwali and New Year at London Arms with our big 40-person family group, and it was truly an amazing experience!

From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely authentic, full of real Indian spices and flavours , something that’s really hard to find in Melbourne! Every dish was delicious and reminded us of home.

Even though the place was super busy and we had kids running around, the staff served us with so much patience, warmth, and big smiles the entire time. Their hospitality and positive attitude made all the difference.

The cocktails and drink options were excellent, and the balcony area gave us the perfect space to relax, enjoy finger food, and celebrate together.

I had an amazing dinner at London Arms in South Melbourne! The place has such a beautiful, moody atmosphere — a mix of classic British charm and Indian warmth that makes you want to stay longer. We ordered a few dishes to share: the Chicken Malai Kebab was juicy and perfectly grilled, and the Lamb Seekh Taco was such a fun twist — soft, flavorful and full of spice. Both curries, the UK Favourite Chicken Madras and the Duck Curry Roghanjosh, were rich, aromatic and full of depth. The Garlic Cheese Naan and Laccha Paratha were buttery and soft — perfect for soaking up every bit of curry sauce. For drinks, I had the Banarasi Paan Mojito and the Smoked Pineapple & Curry Leaf Cooler — both unique, refreshing and super well-balanced.
