Horrible experience. First the bartender (only employee when we were there, maybe a manager?) was incredibly weird when checking our IDs. Seemed like he was high or something. He held my friend’s ID for an uncomfortably long time, and snatched it away when she tried to take it back. In the end my other friend had to physically take it from his hands. Then he was similar with my ID and ended up slamming it down on the bar which was odd. He was incredibly rude when telling us the options and instructing us where to sit.
He also was clearly not following his RSA (if he even has one) , because there was a man who was incredibly intoxicated sitting alone near us, and he made us very uncomfortable. This man then offered us some of his shisha so we walked over, the guy picks it up and drops it and of course the glass shatters. Unsure what to do we were all standing around awkwardly, the bartender comes over and angrily says that somebody has to pay $150 and take the blame- which is ridiculous.
First of all, if you’re running a venue you should have a budget for accidents/breakage etc. Secondly though, my friends and I had to pay for the broken pipe even though it should’ve been the responsibility of the other man- since he had picked it up and dropped it; and it was his order (we hadn’t even had a chance to order ours yet).
Overall the experience was awful and I would not recommend this place to my...
Read moreExcellent space to unwind, relax and chill. I enjoy a good shish-a every now and then and recommend this place for sure. Mike (Hendo) out the back more often than not will make sure your pipe is fresh, clean and burning right; he’s literally the glue that holds the place together but every so often you’ll catch him out front as well. Carlos, Josh and Samantha who usually service the front will make sure you’re welcomed, seated and looked after; if your coals burn short they’ll top them up no problems. Carlos himself is one of the most pleasant people you’re likely to meet, but Josh and Sam are equally awesome and professional as well. The drinks are reasonably priced with the selection of shishas being not too bad at all- I prefer the strawberry myself. It’s open late, and seems to be a place people go before and after everywhere else which makes night-capping a real treat sometimes; but it’s also a great place to go wether by yourself or in a small group really anytime. The music and ambiance may not be to everyone’s liking but it’s completely comfortable and well designed for small groups to have a pipe and/or a drink and a conversation. As for me, well like I said, I love the place. Pop in and enjoy. If you’ve never had a shish-a before, this is the place to have your first. It’s...
Read moreSadly I had very bad experience in here. With high hopes and expectation I went here with my friends and booked though their website. On the spot they said they could only provide standing tables and their explanation was online booking comes late to their system, they could only provide standing chairs. So how would someone know this thing. They should at least mention this on your website, right? the entire Bar was empty and we asked if we could sit on those velvet chairs for an hour or so and leave after a few drinks, the staff member was so rude and said no. SO overall the service is bad, staff members are rude, site is not helping and we couldn't comment on the food & drinks thanks to all the above. Not recommending this and never gonna go...
