I had to repeat my drive thru order multiple times at each drive thru stop and the order was still incorrect in the end. They missed several parts of my meal and overall order. I was extremely unsatisfied with their service and lack of competence in performing simple workplace duties. I could not believe how many times I had to repeat a simple order of 1 large mcnuggets meal with ten nuggets, cheeseburger fries and a caramel latte with hazelnut flavouring. They ended up repeating an order back to me that included an extra large fries and coke, which was not a part of my original order. After 5 minutes of constant repetition and thorough explanation of what was wanted she finally entered the order in correctly. Once I reached the collection window, I looked through my bag and realised that I had not received two items within my order. My coke was not included within the meal, my seasoning for the chips were not there and there was a lack of empathy and genuine care on behalf of the workers that served and dealt with me. Staff were impatient and had behaved with unwanted, undue attitude towards me. A terrible Mcdonalds experience. I hope...
Read moreI waited the longest I have ever waited at this drive through today, I ordered a toasted banana bread, a small orange juice and 6 nuggets. I waited for 15 minutes in the queue (they didn't get anyone to sit in a waiting bay so they may not have one) and when they finally gave me the order I realised too late the banana bread had not been heated or toasted at all and the OJ was watered down and was some sugary half juice in their cup not a real juice in a bottle which if they had told me I would not have ordered. The order was 13$ which seems expensive for that. They are also still using plastic straws and even when I ask for no straw or to use my reusable cup they forget. That is not unique to this McDonalds though, that happens at all of them. As such an influential company McDonalds has an obligation to do better, be more sustainable, to introduce a meat free option etc - they are not very socially responsible, everyone knows that but at the very least they are meant to be efficient, have great service and consistent quality with their food. This store has none of...
Read moreThe men’s bathroom was absolutely trashed beyond any functional use. The urinal was flooding, yet despite the sign that clearly read “out of order”, people were clearly still using it. The single cubicle was so thoroughly devastated that just using it for a casual wee was essentially out of the question. The idea of just washing my hands in the sink in that cesspit was unrealistic - I knew where my hands had been, conversely I had zero idea what had passed through that sink.
This is obviously not the fault of McDonald’s staff, but that bathroom had not been like that for a brief period. It takes some hours to accrue that level of unpleasantness. I feel that a multi-billion dollar multinat like Maccas could afford to have a plumber, sparky, chippy and general handyman on-call for every store without putting too much of a dint in their profits. Or at the very least, ensure someone is there to fix the situation within an hour or so. Leaving minimum wage staff to deal with that mess is...
