Ormond Ice Creamery — Local services in Melbourne

Tonight we got 2 single scoops to go and a Flinders Vanilla slice. I requested the young girl serving me to give me the Vanilla slice from the middle and not the one on the side that was exposed on the tray as the side piece looked dry and hard. Our ice cream was already scooped to go. She took so long to get the piece out( ice cream is melting)and inspite of my request she purposely starts putting the particular piece I requested her not to in the box. I asked her that I requested her not to give me that piece but one from the middle and she just continues smirking and tells me that it's not dry it's fine. Appalling customer service. I came home with melted ice cream and a vanilla slice which I was not happy with. A note to the owner....your ice cream is good but you need to train your staff to listen to the customers. Oh my goodness! One of the best ice creams I've tried in Melbourne. My friend and I came on Sunday around 3 pm I was surprised by the long line! But the wait is worth 😍. There is a small number of seating in the shop that has a clean, upscale ice cream parlour feel to it!! Creamery exceeded expectations with lots of creative different flavours. There are so many good and interesting flavours that it is SURE to appeal to literally anyone. Extremely creamy, not too sweet and delicious, just the way I like it!! Definitely would recommend Ormond for any ice cream enthusiasts or any ice cream or shakes. We paid 8$ for 3 flavours and it was a very big serving. Donuts were cooked perfectly and not overpriced. They could be a bit less sweet but have just the right amount of filling. It was the best part of the day! The variety of flavours is magnificent and the four pack isn’t just one flavour as you can choose as many different flavours as you want. The ice creams are also delicious and there is many more flavours than any other place I have ever been to. The new white chocolate donuts were the best I’ve ever had. Hot and made fresh to order. Customer service was great! They said it would be four minutes but it was only two! Really appreciate the allergy awareness using different scoops for each flavour to prevent cross contamination.
