I can honestly say that I have never once received a correct order from this drive thru, which is an incredible statement to make when you think about it. Fast food is supposed to be simple, fast, and convenient. You order something, you pay, you get your food. Yet somehow, this location has managed to turn even that basic process into a constant source of frustration.
It does not matter how small or straightforward the order is, something always goes wrong. Sometimes items are completely missing, sometimes they have substituted things that were not even close to what I asked for, and sometimes the food is just poorly put together. And it is not once in a while, it is every single time. That level of inconsistency is not bad luck, it is a clear sign that the staff and management are not paying attention.
The most frustrating part is that you usually do not realise the mistake until you have already driven away. By then, you are left with two bad options: either waste more of your time going back to try and fix it, or just accept the fact that you paid for something you did not get. Neither feels good, and neither should be happening at a place as established and well known as McDonald’s. Drive thrus are supposed to save time, but this one ends up costing more in wasted money, wasted fuel, and wasted patience.
I have tried giving this store the benefit of the doubt more times than I should have. Everyone makes mistakes, but after this many visits, it is impossible to call it an accident or a fluke. It is a pattern, and it shows a total lack of quality control. Other McDonald’s locations can manage to get things right, so there is no excuse for this one to fail so badly. Either staff are not being trained properly, or they simply do not care enough to do the job correctly. In both cases, that responsibility falls on management, and the fact that it continues like this says a lot about how little attention is being paid to customer experience here.
At this point, I have completely lost confidence in using this drive thru. When you hand over your money, the very least you should expect is to get the food you ordered, not to play a guessing game about what might actually end up in your bag. That is the bare minimum standard for any fast food place, and this location is not even meeting that.
I do not usually bother writing reviews, but the level of incompetence here is so consistent that it feels necessary. If you value your time and your money, I strongly recommend going to a different McDonald’s. This drive thru has proven to be completely unreliable, and until there are real improvements in accuracy, organisation, and accountability, it is not worth the...
Read moreWhere to start? I was recommended to come to this restaurant or should I say establishment as I am a fan of burgers and had never tried McDonald's. Upon my arrival I was greeted with a very sleek, minimalist and modern looking exterior and interior, which boosted my expectations of this establishment that I have never tried to a fresh and tasty burger place. I ordered a big Mac as my friends had told me this was the best one to get, I added a small chips and diet coke also to make a "meal". Whilst I waited for my food, I continuously heard sirens or beeping of some sort which I found to be quiet unpleasant. I received my "meal" after only about 3 minutes of waiting. I was handed a brown paper bag and sent off to eat it, I decided to. I reached into the bag and pulled out a cardboard box containing my "burger" and the fries were in a little bag but most of them had fallen out in to the large paper bag. I stared at my burger for about 30 seconds before even taking a bite, it looked soggy and not the freshest burger, possibly even microwaved. After I stared at it I finally took a bite, let me describe the experience to you. Once the bread touched my tongue that was pretty much all I could taste right untill I swallowed it, two very thin patties and three pieces of luke warm bread, an interesting sauce that tasted like someone had liquified dill and that along with the pickles was the only other flavour I could taste. I then had one of my fries and they tasted like someone had deep fried cardboard and salted it. The only thing enjoyed about my meal, was...
Read moreThe branch manager is incapable of withholding McDonalds customer services and shouldn't be in that position. Mistakes sometime do happen by staff members, it is of utmost importance to handle them properly. Placed order via drive through, unfortunately, the attendant didn't get my order right, the screen display kiosk wasn't working, otherwise, i could have checked. Advised the serving staff that a sift serve cone is missing. I was informed that there could have been a mistake made by the staff as he is a trainee. I requested to pay for the missing soft serve. I was advised that I couldn't make payment at the serve counter. I requested for help citing that I shall have to go through the drive through queue again. I was again emphasised that they can't take the payment for the missing soft serve, Further giving me two options to take what is being given to me or have the amount reimbursed and the order forfeited. I asked that if I can get the amount reimbursement at this windows why can't I pay for the soft serve that their staff didn't add to my order. The staff called the manager, who listened to the story from the staff, handed me over the 'ordered and paid for' kit kat mc flurry and just bolted off without even saying a word. I had to go though the drive through again for the soft serve. My best wishes for the trainee, may he excel in...
