Here I am again reviewing another Maccas. Maybe they have all gone down hill but it’s staggering how little the staff care. I had to eat in thanks to my daughter’s request. The ordering machines weren’t working so we put our stuff down at a table and made our way to the counter and ordered to eat in. The server was nice and efficient. I then waited behind a long line of people waiting for their orders inside, while a strange older man came in and placed his chocolate milk and chocolate bar where we were sitting (so I had to move my daughter)…. He received his chips straight away and it didn’t look like he had paid as a regular. After waiting ten minutes I saw our two chocolate sundaes being placed in a takeaway container even though I requested to eat in. While the sundaes melted, another 8 minutes passed and a culinary genius arrived from the kitchen waving a bag of 3 nuggets which I can only guess were my daughter’s. He was waving them to a staff member who dismissed him, before he then threw them down onto the unclean surface. The girl then slowly walked up and placed them in the bag with my daughters now cold chips and called out our number apologising for the wait. My burger and chips were dry and cold, our sundaes were liquid (therefore my young daughter refused to indulge in the milky surprise). By this time of waiting, the strange man was sitting at our table coughing regularly into the air without a inkling of a hand or crooked elbow being used to block the nasty spray from entering our airways. I decided to take the food away, which is just as well they packed them into takeaway bags. The “restaurant” was full of people hanging out and not eating . The tables were full of smeared grease marks and remnants of the customer just been. It was pretty gross. I then thought about why I didn’t just go drive thru as usual but remembered my 5 year old daughter’s special request to dine in. Drive thru orders were ready in an instant to the detriment of those poor souls being breathed on by customers eating and drinking food from external establishments. My daughter provided the ultimate highlight of this lunchtime by answering “yes please,” when I asked he if we could please eat this in the park down the road. Even she was grossed out and irritated by the extraordinarily long wait for dry, cold food and liquidy,...
Read moreMost unprofessional, disrespectful and unhygienic McDonalds staff, service and food I’ve experienced. I asked at the drive through the difference between a McChicken and a McCrispy as they appear to have the same ingredients. The staff member said he didn’t know as he doesn’t make burgers… I was surprised by this response so just ordered the McCrispy to try. Half way home I opened my burger to find half of it on my lap as there was no bottom bun! I turned around and went back to ask for a new one. I went through the drive through and advised the staff it was missing the bottom bun. I was asked again what was the matter, I repeated it was missing the bottom bun. When I got to the window a young man came and took it from me and examined it, and handed it to a young female who took it, rolled her eyes and glared at me, and stormed off. She came back and in front of me with her bare hands…. shoved a new bun under the old burger and came to the window, shoved it out to me and slammed the window behind her in my face with no communication, apology or eye contact!!! I then parked the car and went inside to complain. The burger was all dissembled, cold, and the bottom new bun burnt. I was greeted by this same rude staff member again, and I asked her to speak to someone regarding my experience. She rolled her eyes, stormed off and hid in the back room. A different lady came out, I explained this very poor experience, and I asked for a refund as this sort of unprofessional behaviour, unsafe handling of food with bare hands, and complete disregard for customers is disgraceful and completely unacceptable. It turned me off eating from here, particularly when I only come on the rare occasion after a long work day where I miss my meal breaks. I went home without dinner, with a horrible experience. When you charge a customer for an item and don’t deliver it, automatically a new fresh burger should be made, not a burnt addition to a now cold, dogs breakfast of a burger with unclean hands from the rudest staff member. Respect...
Read moreI went through the drive through using an UBER. I ordered my friends meal, my friends partners meal and my own meal. ( I requested a big mac large meal without the BigMac bun..).. I was repeatably re asked 'with no bun?'. I stated THREE times NO BUN... I cannot eat the buns due to Coliacs. On arrival to my friends house, we found that they had NOT even put my no bun Big Mac or large fries in the take away brown bag. P.S I asked the YOUNG lady at the 2nd window if my bigmac burger had no bun, she stated yes. We got back and not only did my meal have NO bun, but NO everything. I wasn't even given my large coke.. almost $12 AUD. I recently called them up and they stated they had my name etc on their registrar, I just had to come and they would refund or remake my meal. I called them just now and the 'young lady' stated I required a receipt otherwise there was nothing they could do. I stated this was a few months ago and that I had called up two weeks prior and they stated they had my name in the register. This young lady was very rude and would not even let me talk, over talking me and telling me if I did not have a receipt, then that pretty much was that. Welp. McDonalds in Blackburn got a free 11-12 dollars for not putting in a meal and realising they didn't originally and putting my name down on their register.. But this angry young women answering the phone clearly could not be bothered moving over to actually check the 'didn't receive their order' log. Never had a problem with any McDonalds, except for this one instance and this one angry lady. TBH I coudn't care about my food or money.. Just very upset at this rude young lady. Called 9:10 PM 3/5/2020. Hope the managers redirect and let this lady know how to be civil and communicate on a fair level. I was very polite. I even apologised for our time...
