Worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. After ordering a 'flake pack' I was incredibly disappointed to discover the poor quality of the food. The chips were undercooked and inedible and the flake ( I believe was not even real flake) was not much better although it was cooked it was soggy and nasty to consume My friends ordered similar packs and we're equally disappointed with theirs. We approached the fish and chip shop about the poor quality of the foodand were told the chips were not undercooked they were fresh and not frozen? I am.not ignorant and can assure you the chips were serverly undercooked. They did not offer a refund or replacement for our poor meal. We will not be returning, in fact I find it hard to believe this place still continues to stay open with such poor food quality and dreadful...

nice, sweet, fresh fish; light batter; really nice chips, crunchy not soggy; polite service from a pleasant young couple; clean and fresh shop and the oil smell wasn't burnt or overpowering. We have just moved to the area and are trying out the local takeaways. There are 2 fish and chip shops in Blackburn South Village, one at each end. Unfortunately we tried the other one first (not recommended) - this place is much better based only on one visit. 3pm Sunday afternoon on a hot and windy day and we were the only people in the shop which is a challenge to a fish and chip shop, but...

Great fish and chips in the eastern suburbs.

We are locals that aim to get a meal from here at least once a month and have never been disappointed.

The only issue we had was a single time where our flake fillet was quite smaller than usual (As we a are regulars we can spot a difference). This was not an issue though as the last time we went it seemed to have gone back to normal generous fillets of fish.

Fresh oil, fresh chips, fresh soft calamari and most of all fresh fish.
