Disappointing Experience - Ruined My Husband's Birthday

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Mint & Co. Despite making a booking 2 months in advance and confirming with staff that I could either bring my own cake or have their knafeh, they failed to deliver on their promises.

The Issues:

• At the time of placing order, the waiter was happy to do a song with small knafeh as he agreed that small knafeh should be sufficient for us.
• After we finished our meal, we were told we couldn't have candles on the small knafeh due to lack of small candles forcing us to have their birthday knafeh even though we were just 2 people.
• Our request for Coke was completely ignored, despite multiple attempts to get the staff's attention. The lady in hijab who took the order passed right in front of us 6-7 times yet ignored us each time.
• We waited over 45 minutes for the knafeh, which arrived without the promised song or any special touch.
• No apology or explanation was offered for the poor service.
• While paying the bill, they charged us the full amount although it was Tuesday and we placed the order before 8 pm, so we should have gotten 20% off on the bill, which they completely overlooked. We had to inform them to get it rectified.

The situation could have been easily avoided if the staff had communicated properly. The waiter who took our order tried to convince the owner to make it right, but was refused. Unfortunately, Mint & co. ruined my husband's birthday. The lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and disregard for customer satisfaction means we will never be returning.
