I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the dining experience I recently had at your restaurant on 17/10/23 This experience was not only frustrating but also quite concerning, as it involved an issue of misrepresentation on your menu and an inadequate response from the Waitstaff. Upon placing my order, I ordered the copperwood chicken with mashed potatoes as my meal as it was my understanding that this would be a gluten-free option, as there was no indication to the contrary on your menu. To my shock and dismay, when my meal was served, I was presented with a dish containing soggy bread with a tiny amount of mashed potatoes smeared around the soggy bread. This discrepancy was already distressing, but what truly compounded my disappointment was the response I received from the waitress when I pointed out the error. She claimed that "it's something new they are trying but haven’t updated the menu" and left me feeling as though I were at fault for the misunderstanding. Her response was not only unprofessional but also utterly unhelpful. As a customer who places their trust in your establishment and depends on accurate menu descriptions due to dietary restrictions, this experience was not only unacceptable but also potentially harmful to my health, as consuming gluten can have serious consequences for individuals with gluten intolerance. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of responsibility and accountability demonstrated by your staff. This not only tarnishes the reputation of your restaurant but also raises concerns about the accuracy of your menu and the safety of dining at your establishment for those with dietary restrictions. I kindly request that you take immediate steps to rectify this issue. Firstly, I expect a formal apology for the distress and inconvenience I experienced during my visit. Secondly, I urge you to update your menu to reflect accurate descriptions of the dishes you serve. Finally, it is crucial that you provide better training to your staff regarding customer service and handling discrepancies with professionalism and care. If a restaurant cannot accept criticism and is unwilling to treat customers with respect, it may lead to a challenging environment for both the establishment and its patrons. Customer feedback is an invaluable source of insight, helping businesses understand what they do well and where they can make improvements. Ignoring or dismissing valid feedback can ultimately lead to a decline in customer satisfaction and retention. Pick up your game and stop being nasty to your customers!

I had dinner with my friends last night, we only ordered 2 dishes but they came to our table with 3 dishes which WE DIDN'T ORDER THAT ONE OF THE DISHES (spaghetti marinara). We told the lady that we didn't order the spaghetti marinara and the lady called the old man waiter. He came to our table, and was so rude by saying "it's me who took the order, you said you ordered these all, so now there are 1, 2, 3 menu, JUST ENJOY!" then he left to the bar side???? like what?? he didn't even say sorry AT ALL? INSTEAD, HE BLAMED ME! and it took me and my friends 5 minutes on the table discussing about how are we gonna eat these foods while one of my friend has allergic to seafood but she still has to pay for it, then this old man kept looking at us and suddenly said " why don't you eat the foods? it's coming already on the table" BRUHHH ? I don't understand why couldn't he just stop looking at our table. Then he saw that we took some pictures after we were so mad, he said " do you want me to take pictures of you all?", I meant pls instead of you taking us pictures, just apologies, you didn't repeat the order at first, so how did we know that you wrote 3 menus but we still have to pay for $45 spaghetti marinara that we didn't want??

I work close by and usually go here for lunch and dinner sometime. I had a couple of work Christmas function here and the food was fresh and service was great. Just went there on 9 January with my family and we order two pasta dishes and I wasn't feeling too hungry so I ordered a crispyly pork belly served with rocket salad and the garlic bread. We were very disappointed it took literally 55 minutes for our food to arrive and that way too long for a 12 years old to wait for her dinner or anyone else. The pasta were plain and under average, the garlic bread was hard and old. Even our 12 years old said we can cook and taste better than the pasta plate she had. My crispy pork belly was burn and hard, the meat taste old and had been in the refrigerator for too long and my rocket salad came with 5 tiny lettuce not to mention the dressing like old balsamic that taste bad altogether. We were really disappointed, the quality of food really going down hill badly. We won't be back again.

My husband and I went for dinner last night, the restaurant was not busy all of three tables. We were seated and then left for over 15 minutes before a waiter came near us to take our order or offer us a drink. In this time 3 large groups came into the restaurant and were served immediately. We had our sharing plate and waited over 30 minutes before we had to go up and ask where our mains were, again no one came near our table to see if we wanted a drink. The waiter apologised and said it was his fault he didn’t let the kitchen know that we were ready for our mains and we could have dessert on the house. Finally got our mains and we were disappointed. My husbands steak was cold and I got the chicken fillet which when it arrived was not a chicken fillet, it was 3 round medallions for $41. When we finished our mains the table was cleared and again waited for over 20 minutes for someone to take our dessert order. In this time the 3 large groups had had all meals and one group had already left. We decided to leave and when we told the gentleman behind the counter about our experience he was rude, arrogant and dismissive, offered no apology and stayed that it takes 20-25 minutes to cook a medium rare steak ad their steaks are 550g steaks with the bone. We cook steak all the time and it does not take that long to cook a medium rare steak. He also stated that you have been here a few time and this is just one bad experience out of 4 visits so not so bad for $192 I would have expect a little bit of an apology. We arrived at 7.20pm and did not leave until 9.35pm, we will not be returning.

As usual your response is not apologetic. I have never been to a restaurant that takes that long to cook a medium rare steak of more than 500 grams. 2 hour dining experience is fine if you had 1 bern offered more drinks and 2 if you had dessert. The reason I chose to do this review was your attitude towards us when telling you about it at the counter last night. Still doesn’t explain why the...

If i could i would give minus 5 star. I would do everything within my power to ask anybody i know to do themselves a favor and never set foot in here. This is the WORST dinning experience I have ever had in entire Melbourne for almost four years. When we first sat down at 2:30 not a very busy time for service, we noticed that the waiters all looked bored or hated their jobs.

We saw people having pizza, naturally we would like to order pizza as well. After not spotting pizza on the main menu, we asked a waiter, he explained that the pizza oven has some problems and it takes long time to cook the pizza, but still doable and gave us a pizza menu. It was suspicious. It feels as if they didn't want to let us order pizza for whatever reason.

Then we made up our mind, and see the waiter who gave the menu just walk around the restaurant looking down never looked in our direction once. We patiently waited for 10 mins and watched him moving slowly. Then my friend just raised her hand with a gentle movement. AND the SHOCKING moment came, he came and said " it is rude to wave your hand ". I just want the waiter to know that it is f* king rude to tell someone in their face that what they do is rude.

Disgusted by what he said, we couldn't even eat in the restaurant, we asked for take away and swore never to come back. Just when we thought it couldn't get worse. At home we found that they gave us the...
